Good to see you back on the videos man! Killer amp. Been eying a 120 for awhile. Just picked up an Engl fireball 100 for almost half retail price, so I’m having some fun with that for now.

The clean has that wide button too which makes it SO much better sounding! Especially with effects it like makes it sound almost stereo

I have 2 revv generator amps 1 being the 100p mkiii and man so much of that amp is killer! The green channel is awesome too!! Plus the aggression modes you get on each, I mean the amp is just top notch! After getting my revvs I don’t play any of my other amps lol

I wish that other amp makers like Diezel and ENGL would add features like the load box and so forth from Revv. Wait the Diezel VHX has many of these features and more.

In person, a revv sounds like a shitty Blackstar compared to King Diezel.

Sick sounding amp! Got the giggles at 20:45 when you did "the thing". In all seriousness though, sick amp and awesome demo song as always

Let's talk about effects that should come standard on high gain/high dollar guitar amplifiers. Number 1: a quality one potentiometer Noise Gate. Number 2 : a combination Reverb & Delay for solos. Number 3 : a Boost function of some kind. Number 4 : a Chorus, to thicken up or double the guitar. Number 5 : a Tuner ( not necessary, but handy). Number 7 : The Alexa app (so when she gets out of hand and begins ploting your death and her escape into the World Wide Web, you can toss her off the stage into the mosh pit for a good beat down! Take that Artificial Intelligence ! How do you like us now Cyberdyne Systems? You thought you could disguise SkyNet as Alexa, and we'd never figure it out, didn't yah ? We're all just stupid guitarists eh? Well look who's laughing now...

agree only few amp makers like ENGL and Revv do this. I mean yeah the new Diezel VHX has it finally as well. I hate having to run dozens of add on pedals. These three amps are great all in one for wide range to make life easier. But amp hardware modelers have come a long ways. Love HX Stomp and looking to sell most of my large amps and cabs and get a Fractal Axe FX III to make practice and recording easier to a DAW.

I’ll like the video because I’m happy to see you doing unbiased gear reviews again.. however naw to this.. it’s too pricey considering the many other amp and modeling amp options out there.. sounds good.. just not $3k good unless I can justify it..🤷🏻‍♂️

Did you get to play with the aggression modes? I love it on mine. Never need a boost at all with it

    Hey bro, amazing review!
Can you tell me what you think about the feel for leads? I am mostly a Bogner guy and I love chewy fat leads that feel great under rhe fingers. I don't like amp gain that is too stiff or unforgiving. I prefer forgiving amps. It seems this amp may have both. Thanks!!

If you were sent the amp, why no "includes paid promotion" ?

I've been looking at another high gai amp head if not a modeler or Kemper profiler. I have as my more vintage high gain amp, my Bogner 20th Shiva, and I set it up to do clean, vintage gain, high gain and boosted gain with the included footswitch. With the Revv, can you set it up so that each channel l is a gainer version of the one before? I would want to set it up as clean - crunch - high gain - higher gain and then I'd use the loop for EQ and effects. I ask because I had a Mark V and I couldn't get it to work this way. Each channel was too different from one another. I love what I hear of the Revv and while it would be cool to set it up as four different or unique sounding channels but I need to set it up as four channels that blend well together more like gain stages or layers of gain. Thanks!

Cleans? Clean guitar, no distortion. That's how I see it.

A $500 Blackstar would sound close to this amp. Sounds too tight and sterile, almost solid state sounding.
