Ben Lin In terms of color accuracy and contrast ratio the displays Samsung provides to OnePlus aren’t the best. Also, OnePlus doesn’t calibrate their displays to the degree of Samsung and Apple’s standards.

What a brilliant review man... Makes me run to the store literally and buy this beast... I'm not going to... I'm happy with my budget Samsung a50 which is still getting the job done. But damn, one plus is certainly making some amazing phones man.

Exactly. And if OnePlus adds a variable refresh rate in an update it'll go even lower. Realistically we all use low power mode too so it's even longer even if you decide to keep it 90hz refresh rate

I don't know how 1 can live without headphone jack. Used XR for month and missed jack so sold it and now going for ROG2
I think i kinda agree with you..testing a bluetooth headphone on my Poco despite having a jack..the sound meh..i think i prefer using jack..better sound..
In the beggining I was thinking same, but then I bought pair of usb type-c headphones for my Pixel 3 and have no complaints :D

I bought it yesterday received it. Boom. Amazing phone amazing sound quality you need to do some settings to make it next level. Choose video quality vivid with 90hz display and Dolby sound with music and in gaming mode use fnatic mode. There you go.
I'm still rocking Oneplus 6 and it has quite good camera. I just wish I had wide angle and telelenses on it as well. OP7T seems awesome but it's too early for me to switch yet, have to see what next year brings to the table.

I'm holding on to my LG V40. The sound quality is unmatched. The OnePlus is nice though. Had the 6T. Hated that screen fingerprint. The physical fingerprint is way better like the one on the V40.
Why do you think the physical fingerprint scanner is better?
My 6t print works great and face recognition is lightening fast.
This phone is awesome, gorgeous and powerful. I've been using it for about a week now and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in buying a snappy android device... 😊

@@shailendrabhatt1095 Yes, 90Hz refresh rate gives you an amazing, buttery smooth experience for a compromise on battery life, but, as with my use of 20+ days or so I'd say if you charge it fully for your day and use it for hard core gaming, multimedia and stuff then the battery empties bit quickly. Otherwise with regular calls, texts, WhatsApp, bit of scrolling this and that it still shows 65% by 21:00 at clock. So, it's not much, as the Warp Charge does the rapid charging for you.

I'm having such a hard time deciding. In the next few months, as long as something is decided with the Sprint/T-Mobile merger, I'll be finally getting a new phone (love my LG G6 but the headphone jack and vibrations don't work anymore). I'm going to get a Pixel 3a, Galaxy S10e, this OnePlus 7T, or maybe a mysterious mid-range device Google will surprise us with at their Oct 15 event. And this is such a tight category! I think I'll probably get this over the S10e, but over the Pixel? Harrumph.

@@iambilaal no they are not, many reviewer's have confirmed this. I assume it's because it comes shipped with Android 10 so it'll get the update of op gestures idk but they are no OnePlus gestures on the 7t

I just switched to gesture mode several days ago & I haven't seen the multi task issue. I bought this phone less than a month & love it so far.

Hello, is the pop up selfie cam reliable on oneplus 7 pro because we have been seeing the renders of oneplus 8 with a hole punch design rather than a popup is it because of any flaws or complaints about the pop up camera? Please explain

I was a bit confused - OP7T or Asus ROG2? Both are priced exactly the same here. I'm not a gamer, but all that ROG 2 brings at this price is too tempting. But the Oxygen OS and all these features OP7T offered, can't ignore them too. Finally, I saw this OP7T review video of yours, and let me tell you, now it's 70:30 towards OP7T. Thanks mate 👍🏼

I feel one plus 7t is way better than pixel 4 in terms of front face display and bezels it doesn't have that big chin, 7t has the same 90hz refresh rate as pixel (but pixel has 90hz display with a low battery life so pixel sucks in that area as well) and one plus 7t has wide lens where pixel 4 doesn't have, but 7t looks ugly

I have an OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 6. Both are working fantastically well. I have no reason to change as of now. Might use both for couple more years unless they break or something really bad happens.
The telephoto is actually the same camera! On the OnePlus 7 Pro, the 3x was b/s and was actually 2.2x and the rest was done by a software crop. That ginormous camera circle is awful! The screen is also smaller than the OnePlus 7 Pro. To each their own, but I think the OnePlus 7 Pro is still the better device all around. Oh... And that fugly notch on the OnePlus 7T! :P
Would you pull the trigger on the OP7T over the upcoming Pixel 4? I was waiting for the Pixel but as far as the leaks and what's expected, there won't be any way the Pixel is better than this aside the camera for the most part, especially for the price difference.

Compared to Note 10 I didn't notice any differences. Calls sounded clear on both devices and had service pretty much everywhere.

The full resolution on the XR is 30 pixels below 1080p making it 828x1760 the fact it has 320 pixel per inch Has nothing to do with resolution. Also Apple does not use the same pixel arrangement as other phones do on their ips displays. Apple breaks each pixel into 4 parts making each edge half the size of a normal pixel edge ( 1 pixel equal to 4 nano pixels ) this technology makes a screen at a lower resolution as sharp as a screen with twice as many pixels. It’s a very expensive tech hence why no other company uses such a screen.

you are wrong. battery life is superb. i lasted 7 hours and 19minutes with average use and i was still left with 3 percent. i dont think you can expect more from a phone that has only 3800 MAH. and the charging speed? needs only a little more than an hour. overall its one of the best phones.
Nice review, a butt ugly moto one plus camera module. But I can forgive that. A 90hz display, Star Trek Warp Drive, android10, 855+processer, macro zooming which is very cool. Then of course the price 599.00. You getting alot of phone for the $$. I wouldn't mind owning this phone!
This phone looks badass. I am starting to become a fan of one plus. I was considering upgrading my phone to the Pixel 4, but that would just be a stupid decision when I can pay $600 for double the RAM at half the price.
The only thing holding this phone back from being a true legend is a pop up selfie camera, but I personally prefer the tear drop camera anyways because less can go wrong.
Anyone have a clue on the status of the one plus 7t pro?? Otherwise ill just buy the normal 7 pro. Still not sure about the brightness not being enough or the curves being an issue. Never experienced a curve so im not sure.
Blue Raptorz curved screen is bullsh**. Don’t go for it. It looks better but feels like crap. Functionality is zero. Rather buy 7T or ROG 2

I am using the oneplus 7 pro and the curved screen is fine. Haven't got any accedental touches, I think it looks really nice. Not bad and the brightness is all good, thought when having sun right on it's a bit low. But really I haven't had any issues with the phone. I love everything about it, but waiting for the oneplus 7t pro is probably smart!

I'm on a pixel 2 xl, let me tell you, the gestures are the best thing about Andriod 10 IMO. One-handed usage is amazing now, swiping from the right side with one hand to go back has spoiled me.
Rog Phone II gives it a run for money...

OnePlus didn't create the navigation gesture issues found on this device. That's an Android 10 issue. OnePlus already had nav gestures for ~2 years now and embarrassingly for Google it works far better than the Android 10 nav gestures...

Ive been following these oneplus 7 reviews since a month, and i cant decide. I love ios experience but i need android flexibility. Is oneplus 7 the best version of android? I mean in terms of UI/UX. I dont really need fancy superpower ram and processor. I just need zero lag for daily driver phone. I’ll appreciate Any idea and suggestion from you.

Great Phone, bought it two days ago. Dont like the design of the camera on the back but besides that i can't complain, one of the best phone i ever had/have, beautiful 90hz display, great speakers, very easy to optimize the everything with android 10 and all the New Features and so on... Didn't want to go for the 7 pro because i'm not a fan of pop up cameras as my Xiaomi mi 9 t pro has and zenfone 6 even if its not really a "pop up". really recommend oneplus 7T.
The audio quality of the speech in this video is honestly painful.
What about the uniformity issue with the 7T screen? Many many users complain about the screen when viewed in darkness. Look it up..
855+ plus is just the overclocked version of the 855 and uses more power that's not worth it i guess

It uses less power...same voltage for higher clocks, thus in an underclocked state it uses less
I don't understand why all the reviewers are talking like there are only 2 options; the android 10 gestures and the traditional navigation bar. The op's own version of the gestures is the best of the three imo. Really makes me wonder why they tend to ignore that in their reviews. I know it's not new but still

At the end of the day, it's a phone. Not one word about the call quality is insane to me. Some people aren't in the market for a laptop or camera, but a phone with excellent call quality. Sadly call quality isn't even mentioned.

I don't get the reliance on the 3.4mm jack. I switched to the 7 Pro and bought a relatively cheap pair of Bluetooth headphones and couldn't be happier. No wires or connections to worry about and so much easier to use in the gym. I love the sound quality and phonecalls are a breeze.
One question....i just bought OP7 2months ago..... Is OP7T a worthy upgrade in such a short time duration...or should i stick to my OP7?
Watch the review of mrwhosetheboss for the op7t. He explains that this is a good upgrade for older phones but not if you already own op7 or even op6t.

The people who compares oneplus 7t with RoG Phone 2 probably would never buy an ROGP as OnePlus has certain elements to their design that makes it stand out. I have used many flagship and non flagship phones including black shark and believe me when I say 1+ is a real keeper.

Did you notice the screen bug while calling and the phone is on your ear? It is because there is no infrared. The phone registrates if the phone is on your ear via software and it is not precise.. i really love the phone, but this bug is annoying.. i hope an update will solve it

No phone that lacks headphone jack can be too good. If you need to pay at least extra $150 for a descent set of headphones that you need to spend time and energy on making sure it's charged when you need it, then it's not good.
A phone should be s you'll that saved me time, not requires me to spend more time for access to basic functionality.
