The mclaren edition looks more like damascus steel than carbon fiber to me.
It's not supposed to be carbon fiber. That was the 6t mclaren. It's supposed to be some kind of wood mclaren has used on one of there car's interior. I forgot which one

I think that oneplus is releasing way too many phones too frequently, so as (potential)customer i would always be mad and confused when a ‚new‘ phone is coming every other month.
I have the OP7 Pro and I'm not mad or confused at all lol its still the best of the best in many categories and having a new version come out with insignificant changes doesn't change that, I'm still in love with this phone

@@Blue-sb4hv Significantly? It's 599 vs 669, that's not a lot. And the screen on 7 Pro/t pro is much better, both in terms of panel quality and ofc a higher resolution. Not to mention the telephoto on 7t sucks compared to 7t pro, it has no OIS, so noisy pictures in low light, and it's a worse sensor.
The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren was sold in the US thru T-Mobile (Dec. 2019) Mine is still in Top Form and Great Condition... Although I liked Andoid 10 & 11 much more than Android 12 ... Its last and final System Update. And it came with a nice case but I opted for a more protective case . The Poetic Revolution Case... No finger prints ...

cuz 3T has 16 MP on front camera and 3 has only 8MP. I still have my 3T after more than 3 years and is still a fine phone.
Ohh yeaa.. from 3 to 3t we had sd820 to sd821. Minor update and in camera .. the selfie camera got from 8mp on 3 bumped to 16mp on 3t , then battery was upgraded from 3000mAh to 3400mAh , and addition of 128 GB internal storage , and colour options on 3 were graphite and soft gold ! And on 3t were gunmetal (essentially darker graphite) and midnight black 😂😂😂😂😂😂. And i was that idiot who swaped 3 with 3t and later realised 😅😅.

Ive been using the 7t pro now for a year. Looking maybe upgrading to something, but i just like this no notch or hole in display so much that there is just no real competitor for it. And the pop up camera is working still fine.

You realize they released two phones in different markets. The US does not get a 7T pro release. For the US, this phone does not technically exist. That just confirms the never settling motto. OnePlus decided to release devices in a regionally dynamic way.

I think Oneplus 3 -> 3T was quite a similar, small upgrade. SOC went from Snapdragon 820 to 821, battery from 3000mAh to 3400mAh and front-facing camera from 8 to 16 MP (which might be considered a downgrade since the pixel size went down from 1,4um to 1,0 um, which affects low-light photography quite significantly).
Also, I must add it's a bit disappointing that they moved the laser distance sensor off of the camera bump; you can't use 7 Pro cases with 7T Pro.
MKBHD If you or anyone else is looking for the 7t Pro McLaren edition, T-Mobile will be selling it as a 5G device. Considering T-Mobile just announced their launchimg their 5G December 6th that's probably when their gonna sell the phone too.
