Hi, i'm french and i congrat's you for this test, you're the first who make a real test with a phone. you're natural and honest about your opinion and i like that, thanks
I've had the 5t and currently have and use the 6t. Having said that, I am not a fan of the curved glass screen. Although there are multiple types of screen protectors to me it's just more practical that the screen is flat. Also for the $599 you could also find an S10 on eBay. The 7T seems perfect, I don't game heavily on my phone the most I do is consume media. If the phone takes decent pictures that's fine with me since I do have DSLR.
For me specifically, this is right on the money. Almost perfect for what I want out of a phone because I put power and performance at the top of my priority list. I don't mind skimping out on the display (saves battery lol) and the teardrop notch is a plus for me because I just don't like moving parts. I also don't mind not having wireless charging even though I know it's pretty convenient for a lot of people (the ultra fast charging brings it back for me). I've been using a OnePlus 5 for a little more than two years now and I'm hoping to make it to the under display front facing cameras before it sunsets, but if it were to crap out on me, I'd heavily heavily consider the 7T as a replacement. Also, that front facing camera quality, dang that's impressive!
For me 600 bucks 90hz refresh ufs3.0 storage Dolby Atmos awesome speakers 1000 nits display no brainer for me always had high end flagships 2 note nines now and love this for what I get not a camera guy so I defer to the others for that but tired of the prices on these other phones and I am glad I waited before I bought a Note 10plus and I am extremely pleased by this phone top to bottom I do not feel like I am missing out at all on any Flagship features and by the way your Day in the Life reviews are really so practical and show real world use is why I always look forward to your uploads thank you..
Holy crap when you said in the beginning that was the front camera, it shocked me haha. I had a Nokia 7.1 which is a pretty good phone aside from the fact it bricks randomly when updated. I think I'm going to get this
Wow! What a terrific way of reviewing OnePlus 7t camera! I'm impressed the way how you compared the photos with the real time video not in PC. Thanks bro. Well done....keep it up. Love from India ❤️
I’m completely content and alright with my cheaper Google Pixel 3a I bought in Spring, but if had known this was going to come out later in the year. I for sure would’ve bought this. Looks like a good deal for those of you who have been holding out on upgrading. 👌
Most natural review I have seen to date. T-Mobile only offers the OP 7T and the 7T Pro, the McLaren edition with 5G. I figured 5G is still a little while off and for the price I bought the 7T. I also think that even though curved screens look incredible, you are prone to incorrect inputs and they look strange in landscape mode.
do you think the 7t is an upgrade to my mate 20 pro? comes down to 90hz and oxygen os vs wireless charging and ip rating? the camera probably isnt better? halp
$600... with the quick charger, better screen resolution... iPhone 11, no quick charger, half storage 64GB, 720dpi, $700, I think OnePlus price is right, a big win.
Well you did this review in October of 2019, and here it is January 16th, 2020 but I just ordered the OnePlus 7T ... BECAUSE my current phone is the T-Mobile REVVL 2 Plus and while it's barely good enough, I wanted an UPGRADE... but ... I'm CHEAP, so I just CAN'T let myself spend $1,000 bucks on a phone EVEN on a payment plan. BTW, I liked and subscribed.
As a Oneplus 5 user (8gb ram version) I'd consider this a great replacement. But the truth is that, apart from the cameras and the 90hz display, my OP 5 is just as fast as it was 3 years ago and I'm fine with it. And that is the reason to buy a Oneplus phone: it gets old but keeps up with the pack amazingly. It may be a bit more expensive than let's say a Poco F2 Pro, that has greater specs, but I honestly would recommend Oneplus just because of that future proof feeling. Great video, btw!
So, you rather go for the 7 Pro? I'm about to upgrade my OP but now I can't decide which to buy, 7T or 7 Pro... and the camera which have better quality? Thank you...
The 7T is a underated boss of a phone. The front facing camera doesn't have a wide angle BUT has better in most cases to similar picture quality to my Note 10+. I can't really see anyone being disappointed with the picture and video quality of the 7T. Build quality is also top notch. The metal and glass feel smooth contoured and comfy in the hand. Facial recognition is lightning fast. $499 on T-Mobile right now. Screen is super bright and is 60/90hrz Battery life is VERY GOOD. Only downsides are no wireless charging and you only get 128gigs of internal storage which is NOT expandable.
The 7t is so good I see no point in getting the Pro. Now if only I could afford the damn thing 😂😂 *posted on my very broken S8+ which takes 6 hours to charge 😂
Having used the oneplus one, coming from an s3 back in the days, made me consider switching back to oneplus. I have used the s6, s7 and s8 since. But I just cannot get my head around as to why Samsung struggles to keep their phone 100 percent lag-free. Yes, their phones feature tons of nice things (even gimmicks), but still. Oneplus is still killing it these days with their phones starting at around 600 dollars for top-spec phones, whereas with Samsung/Apple/Huawei, you're reaching 800-1000 dollars for a phone with specs that just match the oneplus'. Anyways, I just ordered my 7t and is expected this Thursday so I can't wait. If you're looking for a replacement that will not just be on par with your s8, but outperform it in any way, go with oneplus ;)
@@aktm1407 original charger, my phone is really broken. Its a common fault in the S8 plus. Same charger, on my fiancèe's S8 Plus and she can fast charge fine.

As for the price point, it's fairly priced considering the spec's & features. I own a Oneplus7 Pro happily and I will pick up a OnePlus 7 T just because. Great video 👍

The price & the specs, is a very good phone. Android10, 855+processer, warp charging, 90hz display, macro zooming, speed demon, oxygen OS which is very good. The cameras are improved. It's 2to400 cheaper than the top dogs? I would not mind owning this phone!
Well. 90Hz FHD+ display, UFS 3.0 Storage, USB 3.1 Type C, SD 855+, 8GB RAM, Warp Charge 30T, Triple Camera that can record video with every of the 3 lens, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, OxygenOS superb performance with software updates in time and fast, premium build quality and design and all these for 600$€? What I think is that this device is one way and the best in the market. Camera can be improved of course with software updates in how it handles the color processing. But still this device it's a beast.
Not really a fan of the curve glass plus the pro is much heavier. The notch doesn't really bother me but that back camera though doesn't look that great. I'm leaning towards the 7t more.
