This is my favorite one plus phone. Especially the 599.00 USD price tag. Macro zooming is very cool. Also the warp charging & 90hz display. Can you really see a difference between 1440p or 1080p? I don't think so. The price is it's main selling feature, great review!
Using OnePlus 7T, the screen on time is 7.5hr on avg with regular use.. the only con I would have to agree is the screen flickering but DC dimming fixed it.. overall a good phone
I didn't notice any flickering at all! Maybe it's because I'm using dark theme and I don't see a lot of white screen.

You missed about the macro shot which is very nice and on screen display is present in 7T
I thought his first con was battery issue 😅 it really surprised me. Because I saw some of the techies saying battery might be the issue for one plus 7T. Anyway thanks for the genuine review man.
I was also surprised with the battery life coz it's just 3800 mAh but manages to get good battery life.
I also have a oneplus 7t ..it really have a great battery life in 3800mah battery, I really loved it

13:11-13:30 Yes you said right. I had purchased the 6T last year for 38k which lacked many features like Stereo speakers, Warp Charging, etc. Six months later they launched 7 series with all of the above features at just 33k 🙄 I feel that the 6T was simply overpriced for no reason.

In your current review I'd like to give you once correction. If the screen is off then you can wake it up by double tapping on the screen. You need not necessarily pick it up.

That's where the bug is even double tapping does not work and wake the screen...... it's an issue on this model on the OnePlus 7T Pro which I am also testing it works fine, but this issue is not happening to everyone but about 10 odd users have already mentioned to me about this issue so it's not an isolated issue.

Please compare its camera samples with oppo reno 10x zoom ... currently i am using it want to upgrade to 7t so will it be worth buying 7t if camera is my highest priority
Yes raise to wake Ambient display feature does not work sometimes with my unit also

Yes i have s9+ and 1+7 and yes the saturation on the 1+7 is too much but it looks good to eyes

Samsung is okay. Realme (5 Pro) has the highest saturation..

You are true..on double tap to wake is not working consistently some times it does not work.
Another thing to notice is if u play recorded videos on your device, u wont be able to play it on full screen resolution.
The k20 pro or 6z still needs to catch up a lot if they want to compete with this device
The rog2 is purely gaming centric
But the op7t is an allrounder device in this price range

Thanks for the review. I was waiting for you to review this OnePlus 7T device.
I have two points on which I contradict with you:
1) Battery - in many of the reviews posted, there is a constant issue with battery life even with normal usage. Users have to charge 2 times a day for a normal usage. However, you are saying that it Lasted more than a day.
2) Cameras - The rear cameras work well when there is a favorable conditions especially the ultra wide & telephoto lenses. Primary lenses is fine but other two struggle to produce good output and photos n videos are washed out.
Please advise.

Means standby + a sot . I get through a day with sot of 5hrs which is below avg but if u see the 90hz worth it . I am using the 7t

@@Aakash.Singh1 flickering issues are happening because of not optimising Dc dimming. It will be fixed soon with FOTA like oneplus 6,6t,7,7pro
@Kshitij rai For battery it's not an issue but the thing is that when we got the unit the ROM was buggy on the same. We had to manually flash a new ROM (almost 2.4 GB in size) and it was tricky to apply as the device went into boot-loop I guess many be other testers are using it on the older buggy ROM hence those battery life issues.
Even I check with some end users who already had purchased this device and they are getting very good battery life, BTW a small tip to get the best battery life charge with a regular 2AMP charger not the warp charger (it's slow to charge so I charge like that at time) but gets much better battery life.
Regarding camera of-course the wideangle image will not be as good as the regular 48MP camera mode as it has a superior lens with a wider aperture also obviously the zoom lens will also get less light than the main lens that the same with every smartphone even the Samsung Galaxy S10+ which I personally like exhibits the same issue,.
Is rear camera glass breakable easily like Motorola does...

it's a hardware issue you won't even notice it and the issue was only caught due to geeky's high-end camera setup
GR provides long term review of most of the device that I like ...other RUclipsrs just unbox and read the specification written on the box
Not even halfway through the video yet but do you think the refresh rate can be a reason for the screen flicker? Did you try changing your camera's shutter speed to adjust for the flicker? It works most of the times.

1:47 Screen Flickering because if the refresh rates
The display uses different gamma curves for different refresh rates. It’s hard for panel vendor to tune the curves to have exact same brightness for different refresh rate. So flicker could be observed at switch time. The issue is worse at the gamma lower end. In addition, human eyes are more sensitive to the flicker at darker environment. To prevent flicker, we only support higher refresh rates if the display brightness is above a threshold. And the darker environment could have higher threshold.

Hey, the battery SOT of around 5-6hrs is on Wifi or on cellular network? Because what I observed that it has good SOT on wifi and very bad on phone network.

The phone has improved so much after the latest update and the software experience is really really good. Such a good package.

I never had this issue on my handset. This is definitely a manufacturer defect on his review device as even on the lowest brightness I did not notice any flicker or colour shift on my phone

This happens even on OnePlus 7. It's probably due to ambiance sensor inside the screen.

1) Raise to wake wasn't working all the time(no always on display)
2)Rear camera bump is high
3) Headphone jack gone lets forget and move on

Do check your op7t phone for display issues...most of the phones they are selling are defective.... there is a red/green tint issue..which is visible only at 30 % or low brigtness and dark grey background....
