Nice job Richard. Oh the joys of A frame bolts ball joints and bushes! I remember it well from many years ago.

  • @gbentley8176

Hate those press jobs. Had good success over the years by drilling a small dimple into the stuck bold, applying a countersink and pressing with an old extension which has a ground end to fit. Helps to stop the dreaded slippage and keeps centre better. Keep up the good work thank you for posting.

Good job. :) I remember replacing the a-frame ball joint. That was a bit hard. Think i used 10 tons to press out the joint itself. Came off with a big bang. :D

  • @jenshaga4256

    Great success! Cheers.

  • @andicog

I've done 2 A frame ball joints over the last year, both have been the same, bolts seized in the joint body, I also had the same as you with one piece stuck in the arm, I drilled it out, also had to drill out 2" of the front Panhard Rod Bracket to chassis bolt after the head sheared off because it siezed in the bloody chassis. It's character building.... I've not been beaten yet. Keep up the struggle 👍
