- Hello and welcome
In this finale I ......
Refit the gearbox and deal with those dreaded bellhouing bolts
Deliberate on wasting money for a starter relay
Battle with the viscous fan .... mk1 vs mk2
Deal with a very low bite point on the clutch pedal
And finally find some shite led bulbs
What can go wrong
loads of fun
Enjoy

Some of those Quickjacks that some RUclipsrs feature would be a good addition to the workshop for getting up-and-under with limited headroom…
I thought early 70s Triumphs (TR6 etc) had non-ballasted coils / wiring and revised models from 72/73 introduced that design and philosophy with different resistance coils and that can lead to confusion and mistakes ?
Shame you had to contend with more dodgy replacement parts…
You are right Richard a four post lift would be ideal for that type of job or a pit as well I always end up with a sore neck after abought ten minutes working on the floor doing work on something , don't know how you manage by yourself anyway well done Richard good job as always.
Well done Richard. I guess the customers can chop back the carpet to create clearance for the clutch pedal. Wooleys sell black webbing trim that can then be wrapped around the cut edges.
The experiment is ongoing, not convinced that the master cylinder is correct
Glad you sorted the clutch issue.i was beginning to think their might be an issue with the operating mechanism in the bell housing but thank god it wasn't .
If it had been gearbox out again the men in white coats may have been in attendance and the profanity police would probably turn up 😂.
profanity Poh-Leese already have me on super double secret probation
Great video 👍🏻 very informative.
Thanks! 👍
Richard, HELP when I hear your intro music I dance I can't help it, What's worse I can't dance to save my life :)
INNERESTUNG looks the the steering pump on a STAG is the same as a 70's Corvette and a lot of Chevies.
I use those small magnets ALL the time I have some that fit inside my sockets.
pretty sure the packaging those magnets were supplied with warned against "internal use"
Funds sent for a pint mate. Keep the videos coming. Cheers
Cheers and thank you very much
