Complete first world problem…. I’m debating between spending the $$$ on the 370Z NISMO or just saving it, sell the car and get a 2020+ Porsche GT4 manual.
I have an infiniti g37 coupe. Basically the same platform. The Gt4 is a beast and a way more performance car than the z. One of my favorites is the Gt4. The only issue I have now, is purchasing a car that gives you the smile factor without breaking the bank. The Gt4 will be more to maintain in the longer run, but you'll have a different type of car. Save your paper, and go reach the stars...You only live once....
That's tough. With a good budget for mods, that Z would be faster and probably more fun overall though. I would kill for a CGT4 and seriously love them, but as someone who likes frequent spirited driving and doing the occasional weekend track day, if I had to choose between a bone stock GT4 that I was afraid to beat on/mod and a decently modded Nismo Z that wasn't going to break the bank if I ding it up or blow something... I would probably lean toward the modded Nismo tbh. It's a good platform to begin with, but imagining it with a S/C or T/C, some good 2 or 3-way coilovers, some bracing, big brake kit, some aero with wider fenders for some fatter, stickier tires and a titanium exhaust to hear that sweet V6 howl in it's full glory... Personally, I'm an S13 guy (not exclusively though) and it fits my budget more (in my Wife's opinion), but *if* I was planted in your position, that's just the route I would go - **with the exception being** the ability to mod the CGT4 down the road and do some occasional tracking with it.
Was thinking about selling my Z for a new M2...Then I thought about all the headaches it woukd be having to baby a new car instead of enjoying and driving it like it was meant to...

@@shootwithkese you made me wanna put a lil more effort in my content. I do car and gun stuff. Usually one-take-jake raw unedited footage. Just point, shoot, trim, render, upload. But the little bit if extra you did was cool. Not overdone like I usually see.
A lot of the newer bag kits can handle the track and have settings strictly for the track. I've personally seen some cars here in Florida at the crazy Sebring track completely ripping it and drive home no issues. So it's all about what your willing to invest. On my G37 I am personally doing air, cause as Kese said I'm tired of pot holes and road debris. But when I want full low I can. But thats me. We all have our preference right.
@@thelifeofhem I'm all about function so the coils are a must for me. If just going for a clean look to take to shows I imagine bags would definitely be the move
These are from R1 Concepts. I honestly don’t recommend them because they got warped way too easily and I don’t daily this car or brake hard. I’m currently installed some 2pc rotors
I get the same crap in my Z. random trucks revving trying to race in stop and go traffic. Ghetto riced out civic or golf on the other side of the road trying to show off. People are stupid.
@@shootwithkese I let Z1 install the kit. I brought the car back to them and they made modifications to the kit and tests to make sure it doesn’t happen again. Free of course
just sold my 430whp c5 and bought a 2009 Nizmo, wondering why did you choose a pulley system vs adding a turbo? the nizmo attracts more attention than the c5.. people get weird on the road around the Nizmo. I wanna do pulls all of the time ~
@@MecheGT it wasn't criticism- there are many opinions and experiences out there regarding turbo vs a pully driven supercharger. the 370z in the video is beautifully portrayed and I hope to achieve a similar outcome with mine.😁
@tajeevans633 NO HR can beat a LS stock for stock and the LS can take more power for less and more reliable 😅 if have have to choose I want a vette over anything z. LS1 or LS2 with Cams can get you 430-460 without losing reliability 😅 and much better powerband
Funny you say that lol. I have another video coming soon. The current kit in the video had a bad bearing the entire time in the headunit. It was replaced recently under warranty.

My only issue I had is the supercharger oil line blowing off and shredding the belt with the clamp lol.
Did you use the correct size clamp the first time around? Things like that, I always make sure I can’t pull them off by hand

I’ve driven a couple different FI builds. With the SC kit, it just keeps pulling and it’s linear. Probably the easiest to daily drive too
