    OHaiiiiiiiiiii you guys!!
    So obviously people who have been a fellow subscriber since 2008 will remember who I am, but hello to any newbies out there! (haha)
    A lot of you will also remember CeCe, she was just one of my closest friends from RUclips, and I actually met her for the first time when she came to stay in England and visit her brother, this is the second time I met her and I flew all the way to Texas in March. It was an amazing experience, and obviously with us both being fellow RUclipsrs, I felt the need to vlog it!
    I'm no professional, obviously, but it was a bit of fun. I really hope you enjoy it, there will be a few more videos from the rest of my trip coming up at some point, so I hope you stay with me on this journey!
    Thanks so much for watching, subscribe if you fancy!
    Cherrriiooooo!!

    Why are foreigners so fascinated about American fast food. This is something we do to keep on the go, but it's really not like we like it ourselves.

    You're in Texas. High School sports are a big deal in Texas. Some of the high school football stadiums are larger than a lot of college teams outside of Texas. Was that Interstate 35 you were traveling on? I recognized a few places there that looked like it was. I thought your video was too short. I would have liked to see more of you shopping in Walmart and more about what you thought of the Great State of Texas.

We had this foreign guy visit us from Germany and he was really nice but had a lot of your typical American stereotypes " fat , stupid, fakers, arrogant etc. A year later he absolutely lovedddd it and went back with a positive mind to his country. +ohaipaiigeyx maybe the fact tht most of britain has always had money they dnt feel a sense of gratitude and whatnot. whereas in America, its filled with millions of ppl that grew up with nothing and later in life made something out of themselves. Maybe thats where such patriotism comes from.

    • @donbeck8835
      @donbeck8835 7 лет назад

      David Ross The UK weather seems far more favorable than Ohio (state near the Great Lakes in America). Our winters are VERY cold. I'm not talking just 5 degrees Celsius, I mean like -7 degrees Celsius DAY temps for like days in a row along with inches to feet of snow. It's been a low snow winter this year but we get it often, and it looks pretty and all but you drive in it, and it's awful. Your car gets stuck, covered, it slides, and everyone's car starts sliding too. The spring and the fall in Ohio are exactly like the U.K. Cool, and rainy. But then after that, comes a scorchingly hot and humid summer. It's nice to swim in but it gets nasty if you just want to chill. So yeah, we're pretty much at temperature extremes in my end of the country and a lot of people find it unpleasant. Hotter summers but colder winters.

      I’ve tried Blue Bunny, and there is no comparison between that and Blue Bell. Blue Bell is the best. It’s so good that it’s the number three ice cream in the country despite only being distributed in 17 states. If it was in all 50 states, it would be number one for sure.

      @Captain Brandon Horror Lover Educated people in the north would write, "there are only so many ways of saying things now." This isn't the central US. Central would be places like Iowa and Nebraska, and I agree that most of the population there would be as "normal" as can be. But this is not Central--this is the South--and its history is one of problematic abnormality from start to finish. It has always been a choice to be divided or not, and that has broadly been the South's choice, and Texas in some ways is even more extreme than the rest. Let's see, for this week's example, how about the governance of Virginia?

    Try to come and visit the rest of America. How about our nation's capital Washington, DC or even here in Virginia? There's a lot to see in the rest of the country to. Believe me that's coming from a person whose been to and seen about 36 of the 50 states in this country. I've been on both coasts of this country both the east and the west. I've even been to the smallest state in the United States of America in Rhode Island as well. Plus when you by something from a store in Rhode Island there is no sales tax added to it. The price you pay is the price on that tag there. Rhode Island is one of those states that has no sales taxes on the bill. Which there are others states that has that to. So not all the states in our country has sales tax like most other states do. Texas is nice I've been to that state before but I mostly just passed through on a cross country driving trip I made from North Carolina to Arizona back in 1993. To tell the truth I've been on two cross country trips in my so young life. Then almost had to take a third one. And I've been in the United States for most of my life but I was born in a foreign nation and lived in that nation for only two and an half years of my life.

      That sounds wonderful! I would absolutely adore to travel round america at some point - as you can see from my other videos I have been to New York, but that is the only other place I've been to in America! I'd love to go to DC, and California etc. Maybe one day when I earn enough money!

    • @chadst.pierre5257
      @chadst.pierre5257 8 лет назад

      ohaipaiigeyx
      Yeah it's really expensive to travel these days. I've also been to New York City but only passed through on the interstate. But one day I'd like to go into the inner city myself. It's been a long time since I've been able to travel but most of those travels were for family get togethers in Rhode Island. California is a nice place to I've lived there for three years. Where I had two beaches and a harbor within a good walking distance from my house there in California. My 6th grade class took a trip from our school to the beach near to the end of the school year. But we never took a bus over to that beach we basically walk from our school to the beach and back. Which was really fun.
      But now I live right around the corner from the very place where George Washington got the sandstone to build the Capital Building and the White House from. We call it Government Island over here in Virginia. Then in the southern part of my county in Stafford County, Virginia is the childhood home Ferry Farm for President George Washington. We also have 5 Civil War battlefields from the American Civil War within a close distance to where I live today. So we have a lot of history of this nation so close to where I live.
      There is also the National Museum of the Marine Corps close by to that first opened up in November 2006. They have a lot of exhibits on what it takes to become a United States Marine even with a phone booth looking thing where you can experience a drill Sergeant yelling at you when you start Boot Camp training. There is also a park outside the building that has names of Marines who has served in the Marine Corps. That park is called Memorial Park and the names are engraved on bricks on each side of the sidewalk. My father is one of those names in that park. Since he was a 23 year veteran of the United States Marine Corps who served during Dessert Storm which is called the Persian Gulf War.

      Hey I was a military brat that is the reason I was able to live and travel to so many places. We military brats in the US military gets to go to so many cool places within the US and outside. I'm almost 32 years old and I was born on a military base in a foreign nation. Which was where I lived from birth to two and an half years old. I was actually born in Japan on an Air Force Base just outside the capital city of Japan of Tokyo. And lived in Iwakuni, Japan from the day I came home from the hospital after birth to the age of almost 3 years old. But my parents had just moved to Iwakuni, Japan the very same year I was born. So my mother went to Japan pregnant with me and left pregnant with my baby brother. Now that is the advantages of being an American in the part of a military family.
      This is the reason why I'm the type of person who loves to travel. But there is one downside to being a military brat in America and maybe it could be the same for military families in other countries to. Which is the one part of being a military brat I never liked all too much. Which is you have to say goodbye to so many friends and have to make new friends in everyplace you go. I even have old friends I had back when I was younger that I haven't seen or heard from for 26 years. I don't even know what their lives are like today or if they even remember that they were my old friends. This is the only downside I absolutely hated by being a military brat. Also half of those old friends of mine I don't even remember their last names. I sure do miss all of those old friends I made back when I was younger.

    I don't understand why so many foreign visitors to America make videos about their first trip to Walmart.
    I live in rural New Jersey and there are deer everywhere. You can't escape them. They are especially visible around dusk. They are a serious hazard to cars.

      I totally agree! awsome my brother in law lives near austin! dont get me wrong i think people should visit california and new york but i think they should visit other cities than san francisco, los angeles and New york city. i just feel they are played out and i personally dont think they show the true country how it actually is. i believe people visiting from out of country should visit them but not finish there and say they have seen everything we have to offer. visit other states and cities that other havent that is my advise because the country is way to diverse to get a good feel of it by seeing one city or one state. :) thank you for replying to me and i hope you come out sometime and visit Dallas! maybe i can show you around! but have you thought of moving to the great state of texas? i have been here about 9 years now and i love it way better than california and dont think i would ever move anywhere else!
