    What did we say...?! No one believes us when we say Newbiggin is an under rated mark.... That selection of fish proves that today... Well done you lot...👍

      35c for most of the time! Almost too hot for the shallow fish… they head off to deeper water! 😅

    Hello mate, great set of videos and I’ve subscribed to your channel 👍
    Can I ask if you still kayak fish or is it all SIB now? I’m considering a SIB but I do like the simplicity of a kayak - the SIB really appeals to me (Honwave or Hydrus) but I’m not sure if the phaff of owning a boat is really worth it?
    Thanks and keep putting the videos out 👍

      Hello mate thanks that’s really appreciated 🙏.
      I still have a Galaxy Cruz which I might go out on again at some point but I moved away from Kayak fishing due to an injury which makes lifting a YAK onto roofs bars near impossible.
      You’re right YAKS can be simple if you steer away from carrying to much gear ( which I was always guilty of 🤣).
      SIB’s do come with their own set of challenges, ie they can be heavy, the inflating/deflating I found tedious, maybe because mine has a separate air deck that needs to be positioned just right, but that said once you’re out on the water in a SIB you can cover a lot of ground effortlessly, re drifting areas is quick and not tiring like padding back against the tide, plus they’re a lot of fun 😅.
      I certainly haven’t looked back😎

    Hi cousin. I know nothing about fishing. Are coley not good eating? I see it´s a type of pollock, and they are tasty. Fun video!

      Hey Cuz 👋 nice to hear from you 😎
      They are OK to eat but it all depends on your taste. Some people don’t like eating mackerel but I can’t get enough of them 😋

    Great video - where about did you launch from? The last time I was there they had bollards blocking sibs from the main car park - is it free? I only seem to have Beadnell as a free launch available 365/7 days a week in the area

      Hi thanks 👍 I have 4x4 pick up, on this trip I drove the SIB on its trailer down to the waters edge then parked up in the main carpark.
      Are you talking about the bollards at the bottom of the footpath that leads down from the carpark?

    • @alc7897
      @alc7897 3 месяца назад +1

      @@TheHopefulAngler yeah thats the one - as beadnell is grand to unpack the sib, inflate and wheel down. Didn't seem possible here - or many other places locally

    • @TheHopefulAngler
      @TheHopefulAngler  3 месяца назад +1

      If you head back out of the carpark and turn immediately left you can drive down the bank and set up at the side of the road opposite the play park then take your car back up to the carpark.
      However it’s a nightmare to get over the soft sand with transom wheels
