    Hi Adam. Mind if I add to this? As the owner of Inflatable Boat Fishing Ltd and having designed the Hydrus boats. It doesn't look like you have done any research on these boats what so ever. Firstly the 3.3m air deck Hydrus starts at £1109 NOT £1200 putting it priced in 1st place . The 3.7m ally deck starts at £1319 NOT £1600 placing it in 5th place price-wise. In regards to weight. You also failed to mention that both of these SIBs are available in two carry bags halving the weight for both of them. A very important thing to consider when buying a SIB. It's a shame as you've never owned a Hydrus. You haven't even mentioned Boatworld SIBs. Probably the most well known out of all inflatable boats in the UK. I think you need to go back to the drawing board Adam. Just my opinion.

      Thank you for your input. I highly value your opinion. I did do alot of research and I used your website as the source for prices and weights of the Hydrus models. I formed my opinion based on the Pro versions of each for the price which is accurate, I felt that the Lite options, although very good, are actually a replica of the H1 model and are lacking the addons which make your Hydrus H7 Pro such a great offering! For the weight I used the total weight of the boat when set up to compare with the others in the list. I do however really like the two bags you offer for ease of transport.
      I didn't include Boatworld sibs in my list, perhaps I should have, but I just felt in my own opinion that they are not quite in the top 5 for mid range sibs right at this time.
      Once again, thank you for your comment. Really appreciate it 😀

      @@inflatableangling yes, but although the lite models lack the features that are on the Pro, theres still more than on any of the other SIBs in this list that MOSTLY dont have any!

      Maybe you should have listed the price range of all SIBs that are available in each brand? The top 10 would have been far more accurate.

      That would be a very long video 🤣 This is just my own opinion used to form a focused comparison of mid range medium sized sibs. I picked 1 air floor and 1 alu floor option that fits this focused analysis from each of the 5 manufacturers. Prices and stats were taken directly from each manufacturers website.

    I would be interested to know what SIB/Outboard combination you would recommend for use by a photographer on rivers, primarily the Norfolk Broads (mostly 6mph limit I believe). One/Two man boats that can be carried in the back of car, assembled by one man and launched/retrieved by one man on a public slipway. The boat would need to carry 150kg (man and kit) and occasionally an additional passenger (70Kg). Any suggestions?

      Hi, thanks for your question. I'd personally recommend the Honwave T27 IE V floor with a 3.5 hp 4 stroke outboard for your situation. This would be suitable for use on the Norfolk Broads (you would need a bigger outboard if you want to go out to sea though). It is light enough for you to set up and launch solo. It will also pack down well and should fit in the back of most cars with the rear seats down.

    Hello m8. I saw your mounting fish finder video that you made a year ago. Where you're strapping the transducer around the tube at the back. Did that work out OK for you? I'm going to be drilling my transom to mount it at some point, but for just this weekend I'm going to try mounting it like you did. Any issues with doing it the way you did? Thx for replies.

      Hi, thanks for your question. Yes it works really well for me! I still use it like that with the strap now and not had any issues at all.

    Complete noob here, just wondering how stable the air floor is to stand on compared to the aluminium ones?

      @inflatableangling  26 дней назад

      Hi, the air floors are stable to stand on, even the air V floors are ok, but of course none of the air floors are as stable as the alu floors.

    What kind of licence do you need when you have a inflatable boat with a small engine?

    • @inflatableangling
      @inflatableangling  24 дня назад

      Hi, this will depend heavily on which country you are in. Can only speak about UK waters. Some parts of the UK require you to register a sib and outboard when in harbours/ports and also some freshwater rivers and broads also require you to register your boat. Many other parts of the UK coast and sea do not require any licence for your boat. So you just have to look at your local area and see what the law is there.
      You do always need to register your VHF radio though, so make sure you do that.

      @@inflatableangling Thank you. I live in the UK and ordered a 3 persons inflatable boat with a little electrical engine. I wouldn't have a radio

    Sorry please put the right boat weights on your videos. As people will buy on videos like this. A quick google will do the job.

      Hi, can you please let me know which ones are incorrect? I used the net weight of each boat fully set up, direct from each manufacturers' websites.
