thank you for the enlightening you share .. I have SIBO for almost 9-10 years now, I think it started because of acid reflux medication, which I have stopped now for almost 6 years .. but a CT scan of the lower abdomen showed that the bile is little bit thick or they used a word that I can't recall now, I am not sure that was something significant or no, and whether it was temporary or has been like that for a while, also maybe it contributed to the continuation of SIBO, and I am not sure if the motility is slow or normal and I don't know how to know about that! my question is, is there any blood test to know if bile is normal?
Most Gastroenterologists don't want to test for it. You have to look up a doctor who will. Might cost extra. A test can take a total of 2 hours and doctors want to the next and the next patient. A functional medicine doctor would test. If you think you're savvy and good at following directions, you can order a kit.
Can you make a similar video about fasting with gallstones? You have a lot of gallstones/gallbladder videos and I *think* I’ve watched all of them but can’t recall any information on fasting with gallstones.
I feel like they are just okay. Like I've seen clients show a negative test, but still have symptoms, and when they take steps to reduce bacteria, they improve. So I think they can be worth doing, but may not always be a slam dunk.

The ONLY thing that controlled my SIBO is going strict carnivore and eating once every 72 hrs. What doctors won't tell you is that SIBO is a chronic, lifelong condition. You don't get rid of it. You just have to learn to live with it and reconstruct your diet. I will never be able to consume sugar, fruits, grains, alcohol, vegetables, or dairy ever again. It sucks, but it just is what it is. 🤷♀️ Crappy genetics (thyroid and Celiac from my mom), combined with stress, laid the framework for me to develop SIBO.
