Bcos children needs more sleep, the time gap before their meals is very less. How to deal with this in a healthy way? Also many of my friends give a lot of snacks to their toddlers and kids like every 1 hour and end up saying my kid doesn’t eat food properly - your video could help them understand it’s not healthy to constantly give them snacks or food especially when kids doesn’t understand their hunger cues.
Thanks for reading and apologies it s a bit long.. 😊

I’m such a fan of coffee and tea like you. I used to drink 4-5 cups a day. Before that about 8-10 cups. Now I stick to one max two. Dr Huberman said it’s best to drink 90 mins after waking to avoid mid day crash. It’s hard for 2-3 weeks but I got used to it. It helps with adenosine receptors to leave the body and thereby the sleepiness. So we don’t have to keep drinking coffee to feel ‘awake’
Also I do intermittent fasting usually eat brunch around 10:30 or lunch at 1 and supper around 7pm. Has helped my gut so much. I used to get bloated. I loved and enjoyed milk all my life. Avoiding milk and milk products (except for yogurt) has helped me massively. I saw your video on fodmaps and thought to track it too.

Good morning doc... Amazing content and best intentions! There is an inherent honesty about how you deliver that makes me trust everything u say! I have one query. My last meal is at 7pm. I wake up at 5am. Drink a protein shake at 6am and then do rigorous exercise including weight training at 7am for 2 hours including warm up and cool down. When i started the TRF, i obviously could not have this protein shake at 6am as that wud break my fast but consequently, i am not able to lift heavy and unable to do high intensity cardio as well. Feel dizzy. I can't workout in evening due to my schedule. Requesting some solution doc bcoz my workouts keep me sane!

I really enjoy listening to you and following your habits. Question - My last meal is at 8.00 PM and the first meal is the next day @ noon. I go to bed at 10.00 PM but I lie down on the sofa @ 9.00 to watch TV for an hour. Is this ok?

Dr Pal, PLEASE HELP, I hope this message finds you well. I am 44 years old, 6 feet tall, and weigh 90 kg, with a waist circumference of 111 cm. For the past month, inspired by your videos, I have been religiously fasting for 15 hours everyday, with an eating window from 10 am to 7 pm. During my fasting period, I only drink water and one cup of black coffee in the morning without sugar and milk.
I eat a balanced diet with plenty of protein, fair bit of healthy fats, fruits, and vegetables, and limited amounts of rice and ragi. Even during my eating window, I dont over eat and I completely avoid refined, processed foods, and foods/drinks with added sugar, (except for one cup of tea with sugar and milk in the evening, which is within my eating window). I also walk for 60 minutes five days a week and get adequate sleep.
Despite feeling great and energetic, I have not seen any changes in my weight or waist circumference. Could you please help me understand what I might be doing wrong?
Thank you in advance for your assistance

You have only been doing it for a month! You need to do it consistently for longer periods of time to see any changes. For some people, it will take 3 months (saying random number here)while for some people it will take 6 or more. No kind of diet plan works the same for all. For me, it took almost a year to see visible changes in inches. It depends on various factors tbh. I have other health issues so it took more time than usual. Patience and consistency is the key like they say "Patience and consistency are the unsung heroes of fitness success". You didn't gain all that weight in a month. So be kind to your body and give it time!

Our family followed your intermittent fasting for 2 months & our weight got reduced well 🙂but we all suffered from vitamin deficiency 😢 & took vitamin supplements to get back normal 😢!But now again our weights has increased 😢..& what’s your suggestion doctor?😔

Intermittent fasting doesn’t have anything to do with vitamin deficiency, in simple words, you are eating all the essential nutrients/vitamins/fibre/good carbs/protein just before 3-5hrs of sleep..

My last bite is around 6.30pm nowadays, very rarely I'm having dinner late. This is been just in the last month, and i am feeling much better in terms of my mood. I havent checked my weight yet, but i do not have bloating and acidity issues during night and my sleep quality is much better. Hopefully i can slowly incorporate the other aspects of mindful living as well going forward. Thank you so much Dr Pal, you are doing a wonderful job.

Yes, the 3-hour gap before going to bed is really good. For me, a 2-hour gap does not seem to be sufficient. My sleep definitely gets affected. Thank you, doc, for encouraging and nudging us towards better health.
A request: please do away with the background music.

I think you have mentioned this before, but i still want to reassure myself about this fact
Does drinking lemon water in the morning during the fasting period simulate insulin, and does it disrupt the melatonin hormone. I am asking this because drinking lemon water after 30 mins of waking up helps me clean my bowels and i can start running freely(regular exercise in the morning)
I am 19 years old, and your videos helped me a lot in weight loss

In this Video it is too fast and too much editing , I couldn't understand clearly. Also the background music is very overwhelming and distracting. Too many pictures pop up like NDTV .
Please do the raw conversation like before which was very nice.
We don't want a vlog liken too commercial . Keep up the good work. You have changed so many lives.
