Thanks I’m gonna try some of these you should make a video on how to get the puck high off the ground with a backhand because I’m having some trouble with my backhand.
Make sure you're pulling the puck in to the middle of your stance if you're practicing them stationary, that way you can dig in to the shot. Sometimes I see people trying to do backhands but they just try to do them where their sticks would normally lie, farther away from their bodies which makes it hard to get leverage on the shot.
I've got a video on this in the Skills Accelerator membership area of our website but maybe I can post one on RUclips too. You need to make sure you're using some core/hip action in there and not only relying on your forearms/wrists if you want to generate a lot of power and get the puck up quick.
can’t wait to try these out! also if am doing strength training 4 times/week should i do the same workout 4 times or split it into upper and lower body for example?
So, I’m really new to hockey. Maybe 1 month in. I have SO much trouble actually getting any lift on the puck when I shoot. A good 80% of the time I just slide it on the ground and I can’t figure out why.
Hi I’m just starting hockey. I have a low budget and busy parents who I don’t want to bother about extra training gear. Is there any way I can get training gear for less and/ or close to free?

What worked for me is lowering my bottom hand more for leverage and basically just kind of scooping or shoveling the puck from heel to toe.
Just practice
Logan Whitton thank you

Bauer Supreme ADV stick is super light. You won't regret it if you buy it. :)

Definitely switch it up -- Either four different total body sessions or an upper/lower/upper/lower split.
I’m in USA where can I find someplace like this near me?
ya i dont have much space but this helped a lot but next time can you do in in a small space with a ball thanks
and i dont have the rebound thing

There’s one minor problem (I don’t have all the stuff you got)
Same
Start with stick
What brand net is that?
How can I tell what flex stick I should use?
Half your body weight
Like how much I weigh?
Yes
If you weigh 100 use 50 flex.
Logan Whitton thank you
What’s the training center you filmed at? Looks like a great place
Snipe Academy in London, ON 🇨🇦
@@hockeytraining thanks a bunch!
What is that shooter tutor called?
Can you please make a follow along shooting routin pks
Yes, just waiting on my wrist to heal!
@@hockeytraining ok thank you get well soon!!
Where is the link
ahhh yess perfect for home because everyone has synthetic ice tiles and a 300$ goal and a rebound board
Right.
You dont need the synthetic and you can just get a plastic net and a 50-80 dollar passer. If you can pay for hockey you can def pay for this..

Why do people now stick handle on the ball of the blade? Isn’t having a full stick blade on the ice during stick handling beneficial??
No it is not, you can stickhandle faster when the puck is on the ball on the blade. (Just watch mcdavid or kane stickhandle)
What company of stick is the best?
Maybe CCM but I love the Bauer flylite
CCM , Bauer or or warrior in my expirence
Ok thanks guys I mainly use warrior
CCM is just my personal favorite for all gear
stx is my fav for twigs
Best offensive defenceman stick?
I'm a big fan of Bauer and CCM sticks. I've used No Name and True recently too and like 'em both if you want other options.
Hockey Training out of Bauer and CCM sticks, what line should I get? (Nexus, jetspeed etc)
@@ryantam2071 You might like the supreme for Bauer. CCM I'm in love with the JetSpeed
Hockey Training ok thanks
Try the Geo
I live here
I can go out haha
You forgot the slapshot onetimer.
alright cool so yea, what would it cost to create on of these stalls in a spare bedroom lmao
Bruh
My stick is worth 40 bucks
Better than nothing
The hands holding the stick matter much more than the cost of the stick.
