Great question! I would recommend a real food approach - 30+ grams of protein in each meal, healthy fats and colorful fruits and vegetables.
All these things - turmeric, ginger, coffee - will break the fast. Do you recommend them around meals?

No, coffee is not a meal. You can safely consume that on a fast - but if you overdo the caffeine, it can cause problems. So keep it in moderation.
