    I am now doing 2 meals every day and one day I have 2 full meals with 18 hours fast and next day I do 20 hours with one fruit meal and evening full meal with 20 hours fast meaning everyday oi fast min 18 hours! and its helping me greatly with sleep gut issues! one meal is fish and rice and other lentil and rice or millet and no gluten no dairy except kefir and ghee

    This week, I've started doing 16-hour fasting. My problem is 1) what do i eat to break my fast correctly and 2) knowing how much protein is in the food im eating. Ive cut out as much processed food as i can

      Great question! I would recommend a real food approach - 30+ grams of protein in each meal, healthy fats and colorful fruits and vegetables.

    All these things - turmeric, ginger, coffee - will break the fast. Do you recommend them around meals?

      No, coffee is not a meal. You can safely consume that on a fast - but if you overdo the caffeine, it can cause problems. So keep it in moderation.
