Plus he was standing at the head of his ship giving orders until they got to the final stretch of the war and then he made his move so 20% makes sense if you ask me

akainu is at least capable of fighting off whitebeard at 50%percent strength he still lost but that makes since he gave a decent fight blew up half of whitebeards face and was the one he landed those lethal shots to bring whitebeqrd down.
his stamina sucked tho but again his strength i dont see it going below 60 or 50% of when he was young

I'm not gonna lie, I wanna see more of Whitebeard in his prime like this. He was an absolute f***ing juggernaut at Marineford don't get me wrong, but I just wanna see what he could really do before his body started to degrade with age and disease.

he was also fast in young. at marineford he was "staying still" most of the time. in some fights he was moving a bit faster but not like this. i mean in 1vs1 he was the strongest at marineford (at the begin of the war). but a young wb is much more dangerous. because fast moving with more power and Kenbunshoku Haki (he used this whie he was sleeping) is of course op version of wb.

I firmly believe that full strength Kaido would have been absolutely wrecked by either Roger or Whitebeard in their prime. Oden is a monster of a fighter and he was able to fight pretty evenly with Kaido and actually injure him. Whitebeard and Roger were both so strong that when they fought Oden they were only semi serious about it at best. Those two were just on a different level than anyone else.
Oden didn't fight prime or hybrid form kaido and yes kaido would lose to prime Roger or whitebeard, but he wouldn't get wrecked.

That wasn't prime Kaido, Kaido didn't use his hybrid form and he got way stronger now. Sure Roger and Whitebeard are stronger but not far stronger it will be a close fight but Roger and Whitebeard will end up winning at the end, don't underestimate Kaido's strength.

@RNRN RNRN WCI's theme itself was childish, so it made sense to add vibrant colors and draw more in a childish way. The whole island is full of singing things and buildings out of sweets with faces, which is how it was supposed to be like and I think Toei hit the theme of WCI just fine, especially the creepiness behind all the happy faces (Big Moms song was crazy good)

Tu Yong-Ce has seriously outdone himself this arc. The amount of quality cuts he's done so far is insane. Like he literally showed up 2-3 episodes ago and now we get this from him.

Oden would be dead if Edward ever wanted to go full force against him. Love him tho, just want to make justice to Oda's screenplay.
@@siinxx7656 yeah, it doesnt seem like Oden had trained at all at the time he met Whitebeard, his monster strength at the time was just natural, so under his wing going up against such strong foes and fighting to the death definitely made Oden more than capable at his best. but i completely think oden is stronger than Kuzan in his prime like this guy was able to hurt Kaido bad, still got rekt lol but he did a feat that Luffy couldn't who is definitely around that admiral level/ slightly weaker having 'beaten' Katakuri.

Just seeing this whitebeard in his prime, with out using haki against oden makes you think just how strong: The rocks pirates, Roger pirates and Garp were.
And he wasn’t even fully amped up yet, you could see it’s like Whitebeard was shifting into the next gear of power to fight his opponent without thoroughly killing them.
A lot of people think, that all the emperors where at the same strength when they were at rocks ship. But Kaido for example was just 15 and WB in his late 20s. So they were prob Yonko Commander level or a little bit above that

One can only hope that Toei animates One Piece with this great quality beyond Wano, because it curently looks phenomenal.
It's mainly the change in art style that makes it look really good. I think it's staying because it's the art style used from the dbs broly movie.

Bear in mind that Whitebeard was a lot weaker in those days. He didn't really come into his own until after Xebec's defeat, and he didn't reach the peak of his strength until after Roger was already dead. The fact that he actually got even stronger after having already been able to fight Roger on equal footing is nuts.
Imagine how strong Rocks was if Roger needed to team up with Garp
Garp is weaker than Whitebeard but stronger than Kaido and Big Mom
We don't know any of the particulars of the Rocks incident but it's fairly safe to say that Garp is the strongest Marine as the only one who could potentially fight Yonko-level opponents on his own. Being able to match blows with the likes of Roger and Whitebeard is no small feat. Even in his old age, Garp is clearly shown to be capable of easily defeating admirals so it's entirely possible that he could still hold his own against Big Mom or Kaido if he needed to.
whitebeard was weaker when he fought roger and gar[ and so was big mom and kaido the impressive feat is defeating xebec who was the captain of several conquerors haki users but kaido was way weaker than he is now so was big mom and whitebeard got defeated then he got stronger to the point where he was called the strongest man in the world

Jeez, Oden's durability is FAR SUPERIOR to that of Akainu (and thus, the other Admirals). One such earthquake punch incapacitated Akainu and messed him up badly (although he recovered afterwards), but he took it to the body. Meanwhile, Oden took such a punch TO THE HEAD and acted as if nothing happened afterwards. Dafuq?
Difference: WB wanted Akainu dead. Here WB was just fending Oden off.
Another Difference: It was all Filler.
Another difference: Akainu took a quake to the face with his guard down, got up IMMEDIATELY and blew half of Whitebeard's face off

The difference between power between Whitebeard and Kaido is crazy. Oden was able to hurt Kaido but couldnt do a thing against Whitebeard. Just shows how strong Whitebeard was.

Prime whitebeard would definitely beat prime kaido, but you missed out on two things :
1- Oden after he returned to wano was much stronger than when he left.
2- Kaido grew much stronger in the 20 years he ruled Wano.

My only real complaint with this arc and every arc from one piece is the sound design. It’s just so basic??? It’s kinda hard to explain. Sounds like something you would find in a fanmadr film half the time. The other half tho is great
