Authorities pursue carjacking suspect in L.A. County

- A carjacking suspect was arrested after a dangerous, high-speed pursuit through Los Angeles County Wednesday night. The male driver was initially wanted out of Riverside on suspicion of carjacking and domestic violence, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Throughout the pursuit which spanned multiple freeways and involved multiple law enforcement agencies, the suspect traveled at high speeds toward the San Gabriel Valley area and later the Agoura Hills area. At times, the driver hit speeds of up to 100 miles per hour as patrol units trailed closely behind.

Why don't cops rush the car after the successful pit more often? This was over in seconds. Most go into a 3 hour standoff.
