Shay not only deserves a sequel with a proper budget like Unity had. But the end of Rogue set-up for a sequel. Haytham asked Shay to find the precursor box, next restored memory is 15 yrs later and it’s Shay finally finding the box and retrieving it.
They can make an entire game showing Shays search for the precursor box. With the ties in the story already to Ben Franklin it can start out here in Philadelphia and end in Paris with Shay getting the box.
From what I’ve read Shay lived a long life and trained his son and his grandson. They actually set up Rogue to be the first in a series of games with Shay as the protagonist. Ubisoft will blow the opportunity. But they can turn Rogue into an entire franchise showing the world from the Templars perspective instead of the Assassins.

I reckon Connor does to be honest, or at least have incorporated him in the unity sequel since Shay was the one who crippled Achilles and his Assassins, Arno could've met Connor and brought Shay down together.

Arno actually went to Egypt after the events of Unity. So, if Unity hadn't received such a bad reception (due to Ubisoft's own fault for releasing it in that state), the expansions in the canceled season pass would have likely connected to a sequel in Egypt. Moreover, considering that the Montreal team had already started developing an AC game set in Egypt at that time, this could have made sense. The annual release schedule of the franchise harmed both Unity and the whole series, preventing the protagonists from receiving a proper sequel.
Imagine we are fighting with Napoleon against the mamulurks and the British would be cool.

Not true, Syndicate was already in development way before Unity's poor reception.
If only Ubisoft would polish their game before release, it wouldn't fail and we'd have an amazing trillogy (Rogue, Unity and Unity sequel), maybe not on par with Ezio trillogy, but still a trillogy, something tieing particular events together.

I would definitely want to see a sequel to unity if only to watch Shay Patrick Cormac Kick-Ass
For me, it's hard for Arno to know that Shay kills his father just because Shay is from America while Arno is from Paris, so that's a long journey from Paris to America. Secondly, Arno is a very young during his father's death and never actually know who kills his father( despite seeing Shay in Versailles) because no witness actually publicize Charles Dorian's death so no witness admitted to see Shay during the event. Lastly, Shay is a very talented Templar who has more skill and experience as a former Assassin than Arno has, so Arno would be defeated easily by Shay
Imagine if we had a sequel about Arno hunting Shay, and Connor teams up with Arno and he finally meets Shay too after he reversed all of Shay’s work
I always loved the idea of Connor and Arno coming to know eachother somehow and working together to find Shay the templar responsible for destroying the American brotherhood and killing Arno's father and bringing them justice.

This is false. There never was a sequel planned, and Syndicate had been in development for years prior to Unity even releasing. Do some research before making videos with blatantly false information.

So basically if the fans didnt go relentlessly sour on this game, we would've had the closure for Arno regarding his father's death
But instead we got Syndicate, arguably one of the most boring games in the series - i guess we got our punishment for not appreciating this game like we do nowadays

My theory on why shay is never mentioned in unity is because the story for unity was created before rogues hence why in the induction mission arnos father fights back a little compared to in rogue where he doesnt fight back

There's a theory saying that Unity story was already written before Rouge but Ubisoft needed money so they rushed AC Rouge and spent too much time on changing the graphics and machanics of Unity that they didn't update the story

Syndicate was long in development before Unity released though, it might be true that Ubisoft was planning a sequel but it would not have been Syndicate. It could have been the 2016 game though, although thinking about it that would be weird.

I played Unity first and then Rogue and the ending of Rogue broke my heart. I really didn't see it coming and after having spent so much time with Arno already and knowing what he's been going through because of his fathers death, I really didn't want to do Shays last mission. 😭💔

Having Arno and Conner hunt down Shay would’ve been a much more compelling story than the Evie and Jacob’s without a doubt in my mind. Plus I feel it’d be awesome to see how they can work together and how their assassination styles differentiate

Unity holds special place in my heart because it's first AC game where I completed story. Along with Brotherhood and Black Flag it's my favorite AC game.
Unity as glitchy, slow responsive, and the CONTROLS AND CAMERA WORKED AGAINST YOU. The story it told was interesting, but it was almost as bad as Valhalla, especially since nothing is worse than Valhalla

Considering Syndicate was the year after and Ubisoft at the time (somewhat) planned games ahead, it wouldn't have been Syndicate. Maybe another game after but who knows. Likewise I doubt Arno would have gone for revenge against Shay. Arno wouldn't have known and neither would the templars since Shay was on his own. Connor might have known about Shay, but they probably wouldn't meet unless Shay went back to the Americas after getting the box to help reestablish the colonial/American rite.

Naah that would have been the I think 4rd time the game went to the United States. That would be far to many for a game that shows every part of the world and it's rich history in an awesome way! Maybe if Shay and Arno both went to South America!!! It's such a shame they didn't make a history with the rich history of Argentina! The war of Spanish indepence against the French of Napoleon was very heavy in South America! You could have had Shay supporting the Spanish and Arno supporting his friend Napoleon! They could have made a game like The Last Of Us Part 2, but with two good convincing storylines, were you switch constantly during the game between Shay and Arno! It would have been such a deep game because it would give a deep dive for both the Assassin's and the Templars believe!
I honestly enjoyed Unity since it came out, I just wish it wasn’t as buggy as it is. Overall, I never had a problem with it. I enjoyed the AC games up until they had Origins. I have mixed opinions on Mirage, but it’s good. If Unity had the the combat system that Syndicate has, it would be perfect in my opinion, so other than the bugs and discoloration it can have at times, it’s still my favorite AC game.
I would absolutely love a sequel. Some of if not the absolute best parkour across the franchise and incredible graphics. It’s a shame that Unity turned out so poorly.

The story of unity is kinda goofy, but gameplay otherwise is pretty good. I like the environment and the parkour system. The character development until dead kings dlc is really good, I like Arno becoming an independent assassin.

Unity is my favorite. I’m playing mirage and it’s pretty close but there are aspects I’d like from each of them to have and lose. Also is nice to be in a setting where you actually feel like the assassin based off the real life hashashin. And the prince of Persia add on. Side Note: IRL Templars were the good guys though.
I don’t think that AC Syndicate was supposed to be a sequel to Arnos story, just because a game like Syndicate needs more than a year to become finished. Ubisoft literally put in a rule where the Alfa version of there game must be teddy 1 year before release. Don’t know if that was before AC Syndicates launch tho.
A sequel would be great but i don't think Arno nor Conor can match against Shay. Let's be for real, Shay would just beat the crap out of them. Shay would just escape in the end and maybe kill one of them.

Ac unity is my personal favorite AC game after AC 2 I never experienced any of the negatives that others did so I was lucky in that sense. Hearing that they were planning on making a sequel and scrapped hurts my soul 😂😂. A sequel to unity where you hunt down shay would be legendary.

I don't want another The Last Of Us Part 2 in AC Universe , what is done is done and Arno moved on from his father's murder and found it to be pointless since it's been so long and Unlike Ezio , Arno didn't see or know anything about the killer so wherever he is , he is long gone and Mister De La Saire didn't raise Arno to seek revenge or hunt for his past.
the reason he is arrogant and cocky is mostly because he is young and that has nothing to do with his father's death. Syndicate was good game and I wouldn't mind a sequel for it as well as Origins.

Arno probably wouldn't want to talk about his father's death because it would be a sensitive topic to him.
I had an idea for a sequel to Unity where Arno learns Shay killed his father, so he teams up with Connor to kill Shay. We also learn that Shay has created an army of Assassin Hunters to serve the Templars, which Connor and Arno also have to fight. The game ends with Shay’s army dead and Shay defeated, and Connor and Arno both decide to spare Shay. Connor spares Shay because Shay spared Achilles, and Arno spares him for two reasons. 1: Arno doesn’t want revenge to consume him like it did with Elise, and 2: he learns Shay has a son (read the Last Descendants books for more details on that) and he doesn’t want to orphan Shay’s son the same way Shay orphaned him. But Arno does take back the box that Shay took from Charles all those years ago and Connor cripples Shay the same way Haytham crippled Achilles, even repeating the same lines to one another.
I kinda want Arno to go to the Americas and work with an older, wiser Connor. They work together and hunt down shay who becomes the grandmaster after Haytham. Maybe connor would die there? Afterwards Arno would be even more fueled by revenge and would inevitably kill shay
I don't get what's so hard to understand about Arno and Shay both being just very mediocre characters. Don't get me wrong, the potential is there, especially with Shay. But they're just not that interesting (in fact, the more you consider Shay's character, the more he becomes either an idiot or a hypocritical coward)

Ac unity had such a captavating story arc probbaly the best in the series being an assassin but growing up and being cared for by the grand master of the Templars! Just shows how much respect Messure de la Sair had for arnos dad! Even being the opposing team! I just find it really heart warming that arno never saw him as an enemy but as an adoptive dad and the fact Arno went to track his killer to clear his name .... Unisoft needs ro make a sequal ... syndicate was shite!!!
Unity is the only game I haven't played but, I'd play part two just because it sounds like a good story.
