ZTZ99-I: the one in 1999 National day parade with casted turret top plate, 17 built
ZTZ99-II: LRIP with ERA blocks on baskets, UFP and turret face (irregular shape ERA blocks near the mantle)
ZTZ99-II: the finalized production variant with new, welded revised ERA layout and extended basket (unified sizes and shapes)
So yeah, they look very similar from afar.
99-II has a bigger "forehead" so something is diffirent in the shape of the turret too

I feel like these tanks are underrated, I have loved the Chinese 8.0 lineups.
Chinese 8.7 is the best 8.7 in the game.
China is Beast, apart from the big ahh lower front glacis.

I'm trying hard to be a believer, but I am having the worst luck. 8.7 every team I'm on are 1 pump chumps and the grind has been hell... having 99% of the tanks on the game, minor nations are a bear to grind.
@@jb7483 got the same sentiment for the british, the only nation i am stuck at around 7.0 because the AP shell from the Caemavron & co. is such a chore, even after the buff a few years ago, after a few games i am just not amused at all having to crew snipe at that BR...
That system is Implemented but only to margial degree, Gunner gets hurt slow ass turret traverse, Loader get's hurt, slow ass reload speed, the death of crew members affect the other crew members as an example if your drivers dies, somehow your loader takes emotional damage and reloads a bit slower
ZTZ-99 Stage 3 has a new welded turret, the bulge on the turret top removed.
I don't play the Type 99 III anymore because I got the Type 99A. I still keep it as a backup in top tier battles but I rarely ever use it.
bro u gonna definitely try 10.7, it’s totally different story compared to top tier. 99a’s protection and slow reload really make it not so good at top tier but two old 99 really op in 10.7 and with so many chances to be down tiered
Gaijin should give AKD10 to Z19,AKD9 is just a totally shit,it even cant kill a BMP easily with those little TNT.I know many people will say it has OP-90,but how many air there are in ground rb?How many tanks there are in ground rb?If you let people choose,i think most people will choose Apache with 16 AGM114 rather than China Z19 with 8 TY90
I used to bring T-80UK in my line up, but since 10.7 getting downtier a lot i just bring the T-80UM2 with backup and BMP-2M

I'm still over here trying to figure out how/why i shoot any nato tank broadside 90° and get no pen... 3BM42 -T80B... And when i do get a pen, it takes out only the commander.

Downtiers are more common to me at 10.7 with my M1A1-IPM1 combo than at every other BRs.
Not for nothing i could Aced my M1A1 and i was trying the same for the IP, but with family problems and other things that project just slipped away (and i would not try to do it with the next spam of M1 Prem, for that i will do the trick maybe for China or Russia😏)
Is like the T-90 but with a slightly better turret traverse

The only difference I find on the 99-2 compared to the 99-3 is the 99-2 has that weird hump on its head that makes it fairly easy to slide a shot in the tank from shooting that hump, either taking out the gun or outright killing the turret crew/ tank. The 99-3 doesn’t have that hump so in a way it’s better armored but at the same time it’s the same armor. Pretty weird
Yeah i played the Z19 recently and a su25 took 4 ty90 direct hits before then tapering off and crashing

Maxed China air tree but currently at rank V for ground, can’t wait to use these
I think most people don’t want to grind through ranks 1-4 and most of 5 to get those vehicles. The only reason I made it to rank 3 of china, is because I the M64 rental I got from that battle pass.
I really enjoy this China Br, the only problem is, the PGZ, that SPAA sucks, is horrible for the things who 10.7 face

It's okay. Have recently finished the Chinese ground tree and they're okay. Downtiers are nice but it's a T-72 thats stretched out. Just kinda meh. The ZTZ-99A and WZ-10001E are quite fun.

I suspect Gaijin lost a lot of respect from most players when they introduced the strike drones considering you'll face them before most nations have capable anti-air to deal with the threat.

Since they moved up t64b to 9.7 my loss rates at that br are ridiculous. Honestly I never even expect to win any game even remotely playing Russian 9.7 lineup. All you see are full uptiers to face leopards 2 and abrams and your team of bmp2m and turms leaving after 1 death. Truly cancerous br. t64b has 39% winrate currently on thunderskill

Yeah 10.7 get downtiered a lot, it suck when you want to play 9.7, but this really great if you currently grinding 10.7 tank, my US 10.7 grind is a lot easier because of this, m1a1 with 829a1 really slap at 10.7
I feel like downtiers are more of a challenge. I notice that teams just get wiped in downtiers more often. Maybe players get too cocky or the premium spam ruins the teams? Last match I played today my team was just getting spawn camped half the match in Normandy.

Not a lot people play it because of the dam long ass grind you only get to grind out you can only one country when it take years just to unlock top tier so many people don't go with china for they first country

if ztz99iii can have same mobility as ZTZ99A,it will easily kill ztz99a without any doubt.ZTZ99A protection and survivety is mch more poor than ZTZ99III.Always get Fuel Exploded/Shells Exploded while playing ZTZ99A

They should keep the downside of having injured crew but make it so when you crew replen it heals your most injured and most important crew
