Been having a blast with this vehicle, and its also got me excited for later additions like the VT-4 which is just a direct upgrade in every way. China shall grow larger
The way it moves is incredibly smooth, it's so responsive!
Still don't understand why they didn't just make a new "Export" line, instead of putting this after the mainly Taiwanese vehicles ... and than also moving the ZTZ99A Prototype aka WZ1001 over there, that makes even less sense, besides forcing people down that line
Export line kinda like this: ZTZ59G, ZTZ85's, MBT-2000, VT-4
The Taiwanese line could have been nicely topped of with the M1A2T
I totally agree. They kind of ruined the historical progression and made it awkward to add further ROC vehicles in that line.
Also the LCT should go after the 99A it’s the same tank.
The export line could branch from the ztz-96 and they could add a whole other prc ifv Line. I think In a year or so China will rival ussr for best tech tree
@@danysainz-gootenberg7809 absolutly, higher-tier content wise they could easily overtake literally anyone besides Russia, if Gaijin wants to and I gotta say, recent updates do make it seem like Chinese tech-tree players might be in for a treat.
And when we start to dream a bit, a North Korean sub-tree isn't out of question

Because there are not enough space. In the future, Gaijin will split light tank line with Taiwanese/export line. This line will go like MBT2000 - MBT-3000 - VT4A1 - M1A2T, and the experimental 99A will probably be moved back to behind 99A
Although m1a2 is powerful, many people just don't want to play Chinese tech-tree because that it has too many copies of Russian and American tanks. Even some Chinese dislike this either. So gaijin need something original.

They'll add the up-gunned 99A and the budget 99A, but they just won't add the wheeled and tracked IFVs.

Yeah I say lessen power. China needs more lower tier mbt's, say like 8.7. They're kinda stuck with russian mid cold war vehicles at 7.0-8.3

Btw Justin with the pausing tickets when a player calls in a nuke that mechanic is already in game! It's in arcade lol, it's allowed me to actually drop a couple of my nukes as I'll call in but the tickets will empty and the game just waits for you to drop them plays the nuke animation

@@wifi_soldier5076 No, that would be the ZTQ-15 light tank. Which has an improved license-built version of the 105mm L7 gun, fully compatible with NATO ammunition. It has blowout panels and even an APS, which is not very common for light tanks.

The MBT-2000 is a sister-vehicle to the TZT-96. Both were developed from the Type 90-II tank. The ZTZ-96 being a version that incorporated elements from T-72's obtained via Romania, while the MBT-2000 was a further continuation and improvement of the Type 90-II, called the Type 90-IIM, which was intended for export. The Al-Khalid is essentially the same tank, but with a 1,200 hp Ukrainian engine and better optics and night vision. A further developement of the MBT-2000 is the MBT-3000 which has a new 1,300 hp Chinese engine, an improved autoloader that can load more potent rounds, an ERA package based on the ZTZ-99A's and an APS.

ZTZ-96 has nothing to do with Type 90-II. It's the domestic version of Type 85-2AP which is developed from Type 80 or WZ-122 chassis, while Type 90-II comes from the 1224 testbed and BK-1871 prototype.

the fy2 on 59d has 120mm but on mbt2000 it's 50mm, gaijin should fix it and put it on 10.7
The turret is strong af for such tank, sadly the gun mantlet is big enough to nullify that.

@@DarkSoul1992 Player stats, that's what they are mixing. Which are also the reason why low-tier and mid-tier Germany is so undertiered. Since the TURMS is the "go to" top-tier premium, a lot of bad players buy and play it, which reduces it's BR due to their horrible stats.

Although even if the tt change i cant agree that it sits in the taiwan line with the wz1001, feel like wz1001 shoulda been foldered with ztz99a and mbt200 should branched off the ztz96a or a squad vehicle
I mean if there’s plans to add the next variant the MBT 3000/VT-4, honestly that’s definitely going to be at a higher BR and the 2000 could possibly stay 10.0

In your defence, anytime i think of pushing tanks into the water, or off a cliff, its always with allies... (usually alloes who are being dicks to either me or someone else but still)
The engine is an Ukrainian 6TD engine + transmission and they have good reverse speed, like the T-84 Oplot and Oplot-M

a couple of days or two? Merkavas mk1 and mk2 in the israeli tech tree are bugged since day one and gaijin have still to fix the issue

@@SanjaySingh-gm9vd all the Merkava mk1/2 in the israeli tech tree have the engine that clip inside the metal plate behind it. With this if a shell create spalling from the engine the fragments go straight trough the metal plate into the crew. Basically if the shell get to the metal plate the crew get showered in double spalling

It's really not.... it's has bit less mobility, no commander thermals. For the addtion of basically usless side armour (like ariete PSO) and an additional 7.7 machine gun on the turret. (So basically useless even against helicopters)

The MBT2K does use the 6DT-2E powerpack, the one in game has Ukranian transmission as well per the demand of Pakistan, so i guess its not far off
The MBT2K is actually based upon the earlier ZtZ96 series , VT4 is based upon the 99A
I don't know why people say that because it's not true. This tank actually started development before ZTZ96. However, the ZTZ96 did end up entering service first.
I'm pretty sure the VT-4 (MBT-3000) was developed off of the MBT-2000. Just look at the hull.

both type 85 and type 90 is the answer of PAK ARMY demande just like JF17 of PAK AF type 85 as lower cost tank and after PLA requested at the same time became type 88C/96
According to the memoirs of the deputy chief designer（one of three chiefs） of the Type 99 tank the Type 90 is required to be compatible with western power equipment
This is also why its chassis architecture is completely different from the 80-85-88 series it's all new
PLA also provided support for Type 90 tanks as 99 back up

The positioning of the MBT2000 is a third-generation tank that is even more advanced than the 99 III. Prior to the emergence of the more advanced VT4, the MBT2000 had always been a flagship product of China's foreign trade export tanks.
I don't understand why Gaijin wants to weaken the armor and firepower of the MBT2000 and put it at 10.0. This is very untrue and does not reproduce. The actual ability of MBT2000 has a complete value of 10.7-11.0. I don't know when Gaijin can restore the true performance of MBT2000.
Gaijin also weakened the armor and thermal imaging of the Leopard 2PSO, which was improved from the Leopard 2A6EX, and having stronger armor is certain. But Gaijin doesn't want to give them, hoping that they can restore their true performance in the future.
Compared to this guy, T-80B is now a true joker with worse firepower and mobility. MBT-2000 should get better armour or better APFSDS and go to 10.7 to support the twin ZTZ-99s.

I tried adding suggestions to the war thunder forums for a couple of Pakistani jets but they would delete it after it got accepted. I realised that they already had plans for it but didn't wanna reveal it

Like your content but that is a bit of an L take, it is fine at 10.0. The only thing it brings to the table is mobility and turret cheek armor. Right now the UFP is completely bugged and everything can pen it, even at spots where the effective thickness is over 900mm... A bug report is out to get it fixed but we all know how long that'll take. The 125-I has been nerfed to it's former glory, the spalling is hit or miss and it ricochets often. Especially against Leo 2's, those things just don't die. If this needs bumped up in BR because it actually has mobility, then well a ton of NATO tanks are gonna need to be bumped up with it.
How is this a 10.0 ? This thing is better than T-90A at 10.7.

10.3 at best, 10.7 would kind of suffer as it would be forced to play sniper due to lack of armour
