Good on the guy. It requires a remap though and to that end, I have no idea how you can do all these modifications (not small mods either) and not see how your car is performing. You could be running lean/rich, there could be spikes within the Rev range etc etc. A remap is a must.

this is nicely done. I gotta admit and props for putting an R53 supercharger on! But with less that 600 of these Lupo GTI's left on the UK roads these should be left original!
Na fuck that, I own 2 and they are asking to me made naughty (one stock and one project). But admitted done well they are amazing which appears to be a memo that hasn't made it to the masses, they love to skip corners on a build. Sadly the lupo gti is going the same way as the polo gti, purchased by kids due to the slight rarity and price then ruining them and making them rarer by the day. Any vw nut will admit they are a top notch motor

Guy says he has no clue on the power?? After putting the supercharger on surely he had to get it remapped and on a dyno? i don't understand why no one who mods cars actually cares about basic engineering.

Zee Cars the engine I got which was supposedly built had a snapped exhaust cam, 4 bent valves and the bores were glazed and the heads of the pistons look like they got chewed apart or “skimmed” by a 3 yr old 😂 I definitely know my own build mate but I appreciate the constructive criticism
Zee Cars nah mate, still got the lump what was with the charger in my driveway, like I said it’s now a standard lump with a head spacer and it seems to be working for what I want it too, remap is coming up soon so I will have a number to put against the build

The dude needs to learn to change gears sooner. Stock engine with a 1980's spec "head spacer" bouncing off the rev limiter every gear change and it won't last long. Should of just built the engine properly in the 1st place.

He has no idea haha, got pieces from other builds. Has done nothing himself and when it blows or he fucks it, he'll be screwed. Decompression plate on stock internals good luck. Wait until the time where he ups the boost creates too much heat and blows the seals on the supercharger and if he made near 200bhp the internals won't last
With all due respect. I cant help but feel, some of these cars (yes alot of money gets invested in them) but i dont see the point of modifying a cheap car.🤷🏼♂️ Looks decent i wont differ but i just dont see the point of a lupo no matter what you do it will always have little resale value.

Ryan’s Mini yeah i sure wont give up my day job that i don’t have 😂 but I’m pretty sure the terminology for a supercharger isn’t to give rev bang syndrome, if he hasn’t long installed to supercharger fair enough it takes time to get used to the new rev build up
Sounds like you’re mistaking him redlining the car vs him using a rev cut limiter and having it hover around 3-4K and pop and bang its head off! Do you know anything about cars bro? 😂
