@@mgcharoudin Not agreed! I have been doing TF for 13 Years now; definitely a relevant Feature to wear a Helmet during TF especially whilst driving the Way shown in this Video. I just love builds like these. They are just so refreshing. Would love to have a Lupo any day of the week. Have to say you drove that thing very well. Great save too.
When you talked about the grey SLK in the beginning, I thought he would be slow but he was not too bad in front of you ! I followed the Lupo on Saturday evening going back to the hotel, and I told myself that would be a fun car to drive, it's confirmed !
Lupos have a nice combination of an airy cabin, plentiful torsional stiffness and a healthy air flow around the engine block/head (underbonnet temps are cool & plus they're so easy to work on). Only downside is their boxy shape creating air drag (but an 8:36 BtG in such a draggy car says LOTS about how sorted the car is). Amazing build by the owner, and a classy, careful yet exciting drive by Charoudin. Top content!
Brave owner of a very nice car. I would have never trusted someone to drive my 9 year project car that I've invested so much in flat out at the ring. But this guy did it 😍
I enjoyed this lap immensely. A great build, a very pleasant owner and the drive was very nice. I enjoyed this way more than "just another Porsche" making the circuit.
What a little ripper, she sings a beautiful song, the young bloke who has built it up is a great bloke too, that was such a fun video, this is why we follow Misha, Rj in Oz
I listened to the video partially from my kitchen without watching and it sounded like an episode of Beavis & Butthead, you guys had some serious fun out there, lol.
Been following Clayton for a little while now on Instagram. Inspiration for the future build of my Lupo. Going to need a little more work than his unfortunately as I made the mistake of buying a 1.4 74hp Lupo instead of GTi 😅. Can't wait as it looks so much fun and going by how fun mine is on the road while on air suspension I can't wait
At 11:50 we see Clayton laugh, 1 millisecond later he is scared to death and then he laughs again. His face changed different status in a few milliseconds. I laughed so hard!
This is right up my street. I’m currently in the process of building a fiesta st line. Yeah yeah I have heard “why didn’t you just buy an st” well I’m doing it for the exact same reason as this guy. It’s different and it’s a great chassis to build on.
Lovely car man. Ive got a 6n2 1.6 16v (avy) the sound never gets old. once Ive got my brakes dialed in i would love to head the head on my engine done like this guy once the brakes are done.
what I love about these cars (have not driven a lupo... but anyway) is the weight. Smaller cars are usually very light, and it feels more fun to drive in corners (if you have good suspension) then trying to make a 2000kg+ car turn :)
That would be the end for inexperienced driver, like me :))) You know you must avoid sudden steering or braking but pure fear of death is telling you to brake as hard as you can. As Misha said, and I will say that it can also be advised for open road and even for city driving, you must feel the car, it's weight, position and direction and use that to avoid crash. It was great advice but on the track I think I'd lost it ;)
Very nice lap @misha, as usual, impressive save, my student misshifted 3 times today (4th instead of 2nd) and managed to stall the car each time ;-) I can now show her how pros do it without stalling…

"Yeah, ITS FLAT"
Say less my G, lovely build btw
This Lupo is such a well sorted car 👌🏽. Glad to see it being thrashed around the Nurburgring 🙌🏽.
Thought this was the same one you reviewed a couple years back.
A yes as a proud vw owner I can say that the lupo is well sorted. Also the check engine is on so that a good sign of a healthy car
11:53 Code Brown! Well held indeed. Clayton is rightly proud of that car, superb build, and a nice drive too Misha!

Mutkurve flat on the first lap with the car… i guess it was too heavy because of the balls of steal on this man😂
that explains everything 😂
On Mischa or the owner? :)
LHD version of Lupo would definitely go smooth there as the weight balance would be different 😂
Before the lap started I was thinking Mischa probably has good insurance haha. That was a close one in the Mutkurve!

What symphony of engine sound. That was fun on video, so must have been a blast in person!
Pure joy machine. It's the first time i hear a VW which sound so good.
VW Lupos are great. Red really fits the car. Great sounding car!
11:52 the moment you start to appreciate that you haven't lost what've been building for years.
Yes well held indeed! 👏🏾 and the sound of this thing is like music to any petrol heads ears. Great video clay and misha 💯
Talk about close call 😮 good recovery and that car looks and build amazing! Sounds great too!!
This is a brilliant car and that exhaust note, brought me back to Need For Speed 2 in the MX5...
Brave owner of a very nice car. I would have never trusted someone to drive my 9 year project car that I've invested so much in flat out at the ring. But this guy did it 😍
Awesome car. Making optimum use of what is available instead of getting involved in an arms race - love it!

Lupo GTI’s are phenomenal wee cars! Engine note sings through the revs 😎🤙🏼
Awesome car. The sound when you drive behind it is just amazing!
Very impressive save. Look forward to you taking mine around in October 😎
What a Lap! What a Noise! Loving this 3-picture/video layout!!

I’m really impressed by how good it sounds. What a fun little pocket rocket 🚀 great job with all the mods by the owner👍
What a well setup car not just thrown together and hoping for the best I like it 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Quality car corners very well
power isn’t everything when a well set up car with 200ish up per ton can put a smile on your face all they way round
Very cool. the owner was great. Blue skies. Car sounded great and no crazy speed and a great save as a bonus! Perfect 'ring lap.
That save and the fistbump, awesome, haha!
I was on Anglesey with this awesome little car! Cracking build and the lad did say he went to the ‘ring ALOT 😄
Great video Misha, the video was actually more engaging than watching a supercar go round.
very nice lap the lupo was really fun to drive !!
This looks so much fun and sounds great too! Very nice build.
Perfect car for Nurbburgring, not much power but fun and is so cool !!
Nice sound ❣️👍🏼
Makes me remember my golf 86 4 door with a bunch of mods. Had a 1.8 16v head with a 2liter passat bottom and rally cams. 3 wheel turn in was a blast !
God I miss the vw up content, I still have hope you will get an up gti
The reason I have a Lupo GTI right there!! Beautiful car
I truly enjoyed this video and this car. It's a very nice built little machine, loved the sound. Naturally aspirated is the best!

Nice, to see the crowded Brünnchen.🙂

Haha! Gotta start somewhere!
I have a pd130 lupo which i was planning on driving to the ring. I can't say this video has given me confidence
Sounds very Nice !
That really interesting little red machine really grips in around the corners. Mostly.
I watch every video like this one. More laps in people's modified cars! It's interesting seeing what people do with different platforms.
In love with this Lupo GTI after Sid North review n test it..what a lovely pocket rocket car
VW and Check engine light, name a more iconic duo. Cool car though i love these type of builds!
Beautiful car. Misha is next level recovery skills.

Awesome little car, bang for your buck it's got to be up there 👌🏻

love cars like this!

Nice heel-toe, nice save and nice reaction from the owner 👍🏼
Im a huge fan of GTIs and Lupo GTI, great car, but whats even more impressive is, how you drive right side steering wheel car...Thats 10/10...Hut ab
These laps are more fun to watch than a super car lap.
Good video

Always loved the form of the Lupo, maybe more than the Saxo, but I still like the old Clios and 90s Corsas.
Properly sorted, well done
Don't worry about missing gears. Your on the right side of the car.
Always loved the Lupo GTi. Off to the classifieds I go😂
Excellent! 👍👍👍
That sound gives me major live for speed vibes!
Warning: Video may contain some instances of nervous laughter from the car owner. And who can blame him 🙂
