- You're a fan of the tone from Ghost? Led Zepp ? Stone Sour ? Well you get pretty close with that amplifier, and it's a 30 w amp on top of it ! I'm playing both channels, adding an OD, a fuzz, and put it in a mix to get a better feel !

@@jonathanguimond I’m looking to play some early 70s metal or stoner rock while still being able to play some late 60s rock, the best would’ve been a rockreverb but I can’t find one at a decent price so I’m going to try a AD30 I found locally on marketplace soon.

@@jonathanguimond honestly more orange amps would be very cool. I just love their fuzzy nature. Such a unique sound for an amp. Maybe even comparing orange models to each other too.

The AD in AD30 represents Ade Emsley’s name, this was his first amp design for orange as far as I understand. Unfortunately people thing because it’s one letter away from AC that it’s an AC30 amp. Ask anyone who hasn’t heard or play one and they’d say it’s an AC30 type amp. It’s stupid. People are really stupid.

Well, many people certainly can be. In some people's defense, Orange tone has been described as combining Marshall and Vox characteristics, FWIW. I personally have the RV MKIII combo, along with a Kuro Custom Audio R120 (an excellent OR120-in-a-box, complete with FAC and HF Drive). It gets darn close, including the clean settings. For my American voiced amp, I use a Mesa/Boogie Studio Preamp through their 50/50 power amp. My favorite British and American amp brands, respectively.
