      @@jukkao.parviainen8669 Iga is still a 1 dimensional player. She has no plan B. Her play A works so well she’s been very hard to beat. But the other top players are finally starting to figure her out. She wins 90% of her matches just hitting through her opponents, when she loses a match it’s because she can’t do that. She needs to develop more variety or she’ll start losing a lot more. The serve is nothing special, she just has wicked ground strokes and she’s uncomfortable at the net

    • @jukkao.parviainen8669
      @jukkao.parviainen8669 10 месяцев назад

      @@Wes1128 Wow, what a statement! She is improving exactly in all areas, best returner on the tour, now 1 st serve constantly over 180 km/h with over 70 % win rate. She covers the all areas of her side. Jannie Sinner hits 4 mph faster the forehand , Thiem can do the same speed. In AO, she was only woman player who had average shot speeds in top ATP players. Her western grip forehand creates 3000 rpm top spin…she has areas to improve but one dimensional, look what happened in QF, 6-4 first set, then she takes her standard pee break, comes back and it’s 6-0 in 20 minutes. She always have plan B. Saba and Ryba don’t.

      @tennisobserver995 exactly Iga just played 3 matches and got a walkover in the semifinal, that is she didn't play today, which is extremely important, and rybakina is playing matches everyday for the last ten days with the exception of a single day during which she had to fly from a different country! Elena Rybakina imho is the best tennis player in the WTA right now. If she wins versus Swiatek in the final tomorrow, it would be hard to argue otherwise.

    Rybakina's movements always seem to be a bit lazy. A lot of times she's not moving into an optimal spot to hit the ball. If she works on that she can be number 1 for years.

      @nhlanhlamakhanya2285 10 месяцев назад

      In their 20s that means nothing because they turned professional around the same time, experience wise. If age really matters then Iga wouldn't have been beaten by a two years younger Linda Noskova. Age doesn't really matter as much as u think. Andreeva has been beating much older players simce she joined the tour. Age is irrelevant for the most part.

All these three players can of course still improve, but I see the biggest potential in Iga. And I am not from Poland. And the intensity they must play, every free week of possibility of practice matters.
