Ive been playing the game since the first beta (around february/march). It is amazing
Hell yeah! My major problems are some UI designs, some sfx and tracks being very linear, but that's nothing compared to the swift control you have over your kart and how fun is to being able to skip track sections by just jumping over them! It's so absurdly stupid, but also so unique!
Something you didn't say (or didn't know) about the reserve system, which is a unique mechanic of the game: the amount of reserve also indicate your current top speed. So you'll be faster at 120% than 100%, and even faster at 150%, and so on! There is no limit (but it's of course harder to gain reserve the more you have). TK2 feels really faster compared to CTRNF.
never thought id agree that a game feels faster than ctr nf but some how the karters does lol
