It probably will which sucks for more potential mainline games. The game just hasn't grabbed me as it looks pretty boring to me personally and I've just heard very little discourse about it outside big Crash fans but who knows I could be wrong.
That's what I thought, like maybe it should've just been added to Crash 4 as DLC bonus content or something, instead of a completely separate game..for 30 bucks. Doesn't really look worth it to me, in my opinion.

Good first impressions! This type of game isn't for me, but I'm glad to see others are enjoying it. Hopefully it doesn't end up like "Crash On the Run!" I also hope there is still another traditional Crash platformer in the works at some point, be it remaster or a brand new title. It is hard to believe it has already been 3 years since Crash 4 originally released!
I really hope the next Crash game is an open world one, inspired by Crash Twinsanity. It would be quite boring to get another linear game, at least in my opinion. What are your thoughts? I feel like Crash 4 was fantastic, but I don’t think we should get another game like that for the next main crash game. There’s not really much they can add onto Crash 4. If they keep the same linear level system for Crash 5, then Crash 5 will just feel like a big Crash 4 DLC.
I don't think it'll end up like Crash on the Run. Reason being is that Nitro Fueled is still alive and isn't being ran by King, the greediest mobile game company outside of Tencent.
@@V1Salvo Yeah, a Crash 5 that is more open-world would be pretty nice! I think as long as they keep the platforming and action coming at a solid pace, that would definitely work! Mario and Sonic have already experimented with that type of gameplay, so it could easily work for Crash, too! I wouldn't mind if they also remastered some of the other Crash games that were released post-Naughty Dog. I just honestly would like to see more Crash games of any kind as long as they are fun.

I've put about 10 hrs into the beta and I'm really enjoying myself. The first hour or so was the least I've enjoyed it because I didn't fully understand it yet but now that I'm like level 20 in the battlepass, whenever I get matched up with 2 teams of "experienced" players, the games are pretty fun and tough. Thus far, crash, cortex, and Coco are my favorites. I'm hoping dingodile feels less slow when other characters get added at launch. Him being the ONLY slow character right now feels really bad
This game has me really excited because the gameplay is incredibly similar to Skylanders right down to the 3 attacks control scheme and 1,2,3 primary attack so because of that I think we'll see some Skylanders characters in this game, also the Skylanders series soundtrack is slept on like crazy so maybe we'll see some songs as the top performer stuff
"It's like Crash Bandicoot League of Legends" I don't remember storing my woompas in the base and having Dinglediles chasing me until I die.. although the last part kinda does happen, but the Dingledile there has a METAL BLADE to spin and kill me

Toys for Bob were the developers of this game, not blizzard. Activision only publishes the title but didn’t develop it themselves. Blizzard has no involvement from the looks of it

I think this game should be Free to play, with purchase able items. Many games that are successful today seem to take that route, and it benefits them way more
To be honest with all that chaos, this seems more like one of the team based maps in Fall Guys. Which honestly maybe a better direction for the cast of Crash? Mix of party games, Royale-ish, just mass chaos. Cos if it’s just limited to this mode it kinda feels like it’ll be quickly boring.

Definitely agree with you that the game seems like it would be better as a free to play. It has a battlepass too, and I don't know anyone who would be willing to not just pay to play a game, but to buy a battlepass for it too
Luckily they’ve said the battle passes will only feature cosmetic items and powerups and characters will be unlocked via completing certain goals. Also cosmetic items can be obtained outside of the battle pass, so you don’t have to spend of dime if you don’t want to. Hopefully it stays that way at launch
I know that it's highly unlikely that you see this, and that even if you do you probably will choose not to do this because it's not good content, but I'd personally LOVE to see you try P-06. I think you've already mentioned it in your original '06 playthrough, but they've very recently added Silver as a fully playable character, along with Blaze and Amy. I've seen gameplay of it, and I think it's the most incredible, passionate, and heartwarming project I have ever seen.

I like to think of the $30 price tag as like smites pay $25 and unlock all current and future gods. The game is also set to release with more maps powers and characters already built in. The limited things were just to make everyone more comfortable with what the base game is like. Also fun side note all the characters in the Beta were playable in crash 4.
It looks pretty solid, the concept was hard to follow at first, but then I got the idea of how it works. Can't play it yet unfortunately. Don't have a good enough PC, and the only game system I have is the Nintendo Switch, hopefully it will drop for the switch next year. But yeah, looks like a lot of fun. Looks like a fun bit of distraction, but a buy in, minimal content, AND battle passes means it's a 100% skip for me. I don't like games that prey on fomo to get me to play them, and if I am already paying for the game, major content shouldn't be locked behind another paywall.
so there 100% is more characters at launch. they were very open and said the beta would have only PART of the roster, items, etc available. We already have characters like female N Tropy, N Brio, and a newcomer named Catbat confirmed as launch characters. There's also evidence to suggest Spyro is gonna be in the game as a launch character. my overall thoughts are too long to really type up here but the short version: good promise, definately rough around the edges atm, needs some balance reworking and a better mmr system as well
I think this game will likely fail as it has similar problems to Mario Strikers Battle League but I can see Toys For Bob turn things around and take the feedback to fixing camping Dingodiles and booting afk players from games. Communication is absolutely vital to winning in this game and I can see solo players being frustrated more often than not.

i feel as if activision is doing the exact same thing that killed crash, just stick to what everyone loves and atleast do it for a little while longer if your gonna bring him back, diffrent genres that were meh or terrible is what killed him in the first place
There are going to be more characters at launch, but only 5 were playable in the beta. The other characters that will be at launch that we know about are “N. Brio, N. Tropy (female one from crash 4), CatBat (a new character), and supposedly Ripper Roo. I’m interested to see how they all play like.
There are better ways to kill people and strategies. You body slam a dingo and then slide to push them away, usually the best option to get a tanky hero off you

i feel as if activision is doing the exact same thing that killed crash, just stick to what everyone loves and atleast do it for a little while longer if your gonna bring him back, diffrent genres that were meh or terrible is what killed him in the first place

Im really hoping they add some more characters, it would be really cool to get characters like N Brio, N Gin, Crunch, and maybe even Ripper Roo.
There are going to be more characters at launch, but only 5 were playable in the beta. The other characters that will be at launch that we know about are “N. Brio, N. Tropy (female one from crash 4), CatBat (a new character), and supposedly Ripper Roo. I’m interested to see how they all play like.
There are better ways to kill people and strategies.
You body slam a dingo and then slide to push them away, usually the best option to get a tanky hero off you
