I had to laugh. After watching your video and then purchasing the CP400, I loaded my CO2 and then loaded the pellets into the magazine, all the while repeating your comment about using a dibber to seat the pellets so they don't fall out. It stuck in my mind because I wasn't familiar with the term and had to look it up. I didn't and immediate found myself on the floor trying to pick up all of the pellets that dropped out of the magazine. LOL. Thanks for another great, honest review

Do not sand down the CP2 stock. It fits. Just give it a little push. It clicks in fine. With a reddot on the picatinny rail it makes the CP400 a wonderful little tactical airgun. Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. AAR for the videos!

Hi Andy. Sometime ago I found by chance this pistol while browsing my preferred online airgun shop new arrivals section. Here in Brazil it is sold just as TSS CP400 and not as Artemis but it is exactly the same pistol. I like very much its look resembling the 80's classic Robocop pistol (take a look). It is indeed quick nice to use and accurate above average for a middle price CO2 pistol. It is a shame it is shipped with just one magazine because I miss at leat one more. Very nice review as usual. I like very much your channel. Greetings from Brazil.

Fine review, just one question/remark. I own a cp 400 and when the trigger safety is on it still fires if you pull back the hammer and let it fall back (not when you gently put it back). So the remark would be, the hammer seems to do something and the question is, is it supposed to fire?

The pellets falling out is a regular with a number of guns with this type of loading. I found it with my Umarex 1911 colt automatic. I got around it by changing the pellets from flat top sports pellet to round nose.

I love the CP2 an absolutely great gun for the money (would still be worth it at 50% more).
I have to disagree with Andy on this one, mine was meant to be the full power version. Terrible trigger and if you have a red dot that straddles the magazine on normal mounts the magazine does not index, it catches on the mount.
Also why should you need a 'didder' to seat the pellets? That is just a really poor design feature. At least with the Umerex mags you can seat the pellet with a positive push.
With open sights it is woefully accurate, I got better groups with a Umerex CP88 (standard version). I thought it was so bad that I took it back the next day. The CP2 however...... amazing gun!

Great looking pistol - except for the grip/stock! Looks nicely made and engineered - except for the grip-stock-CO2 loading disaster. For real, everyone else has figured this out more not less. Why doesn't the floppy screwy thing seat the cylinder and attach the useless and in the way slidey bottom bit, which is attached to the grip/stock with said cumbersome floppy screwy thing.

A bit mixed feelings of this pistol.. but that is never a reason not to leave the vid without a thumbs up. 😊👍
First off that pistol looked amazing on the box and laying on the table. The first half of the pistol looks just fantastic! But then I noticed the horrible looking grip (that eventually will be shown to be annoying to remove just to get the co2 cartridge installed). And it has a horrible screw cap underneath the grip - that only holds the grip in place. That co2 cartridge screw could have been worked instead using an Allen key. The grip screw could have been some low capped screw instead - since apparently you do need a whole tool box with you to the range anyhow..😂
Why the hell is there a hammer with no function? Apparently this is no replica even.. The visible rotary drum magazine do not really disturb me at all for some odd reason - but why does the rear sight have no grub screw to lock it into place?
But. The accuracy of it do patch up the annoying little things. If there is to be found a harder shooting version of it - then I'd definitely would consider buying one.
