  • Its time for Nothing. Grab a Something Skin from dbrand for your phone here: www.dbrand.com/shop/something The Nothing Phone (1) is probably the most interesting looking phone weve gotten in a very long time. Bonus points for Nothing (1) even being in a decent midrange price point. BUT... a good price means nothing without durability. Today we durability test the new Nothing phone to see how it can stand up to the test of time. We'll do the scratch, burn and bend tests that JerryRigEverything is known for... and hopefully... fingers crossed.... 'Nothing' happens.

Well tbh would it make that much of a difference? For these videos and on paper sure, but in real usage? Long ago scratches were a pretty big concern. But putting Gorilla Glass on phones basically fixed that. With a perfectly clean screen holding it in the perfect position I can make out 2 super tiny scratches after 4 years. And I'm not super careful trying to prevent that stuff. No screen protector. My old Oneplus One has a slightly larger scratch but even that is only visible when searching for it from pretty weird angles.

I've got mine few days ago and i'm loving it, the only thing that is bothering me is the poor balanced sound coming from the stereo speakers. I tried making sound only the top speaker by going in the setting and balancing the audio, and it get pretty loud and remains clear, so it isn't a problem of the speaker itself, but a balance problem.

I have a question for you. The nothing phone (1) is currently only certified to work with European networks. I bought a Galaxy S10 the day it came out and after years of heavy use I still have the original plastic screen protector on it, working well. A tiny bubble started to form in the upper right corner which I haven't been able to get out, but since it's past the bend it rarely annoys.
I might buy a Nothing phone as a backup in case my Samsung unexpectedly dies, given that it does hold some important data that can't just be backed up to a computer, and I do need to stay reachable.

@@alirgam8847 I would say so, yes. Doesn't come with all the fancy megapixel numbers, but when taking photos in RAW format you're getting really good photos. Unfortunately Samsung has always had a problem with their conversion to jpeg, because they apply sharpening and color filters that make details look unnatural on closer inspection. If you save the photos as RAW you can either edit them with a good RAW editor, or you can just immediately convert them to JPEG as they are and you'll have nice jpegs.
