    Where can you buy images and does it have to be on a certain paper to do it the third way? Or do we print what we want on any paper and then transfer with the paper

    Hi I just started wood burning three days ago when I'm making lines or tracing anything I'm leaving dots, I'm obviously doing something wrong can you plz help me

      Use carbon paper 👍

    • @ks1allegrezza
      @ks1allegrezza 2 года назад +5

      This usually happens if you're going across the wood grain while pressing too hard. Lighten up your pressure. Also, if you are burning a line and your pen is perpendicular to the line, it's more prone to bumpy dots. turn your wood so that the pen is in line (parallel) to the line you are burning. Hope that helps!

      Jason Freeman Do it! You can do so much with it and can get a starter kit for relatively cheap ($10-$14)

      Patrick Beal I've got a Hobby Lobby about 20 minutes from my house, I already have been doing art / street art for years so I've got a steady hand and pretty patient

      Jason Freeman awesome! Hobby Lobby has some good kits. This is the one I started with: amzn.to/31zTogS. (Note, this link is from my site www.howtowoodburn.com and if you do end up buying from this link, the site will be compensated by Amazon. - just wanted to let you know in full transparency).

    Put a bit of felt under that stop making that noise

    Also, open a window and or have a fan blowing air around in the room for circulation. The smoke might be too strong for the artist and smoke detectors !

    Can you make the shading darker?

      Yep, you can make the shading darker by either pressing harder or making your movement a little slower.
