    Absolutely I did my Dodge Durango with a Dewalt rotary and soft cut pad with Meguiars D151 Paint Reconditioning cream. Rotary definitely is way better than a DA. Best thing no excessive vibration and just put the machine on low and lock the trigger. Love waffle pads.

    Thanks for the video content. I recently ordered Flex XFE 15 150 18.0 and Flex PXE 80 10.8 on which I would like to build up my skillset and later offer my detailing services in Switzerland. Heard Flex can be a little under powered. However, once my skills develop while cars paint quality varies. Would you suggest in order to add value to my tool collecting to order 21 Milwaukee as being the better choice or still 15 Milaukee despite I already have Flex 15. The point I would like to make is to avoid buying two same tools without adding value.

      The longer the stroke for a DA the better

      Thanks! Milwaukee 21 then. :) I will need to sleep over it, as some say 21 that its good for large panel areas. Milwaukee 15 I see as tool which would add more performance of the motor againts existing Flex. However, if I understand correctly 21 would still be even greater choice againts what I already have.

      3 things to make it easier, Never use a flat pad, waffle pads only. Do not use pressure on the machine, finally don’t try to move it around, use a light touch, use the trigger lock, relax your grip, and simply guide the tool.

    Which backing plate is that? Aftermarket? I only see the 7 inch rotary from Milwaukee. If that's a 6 what conversion kit is that? Is the red jeweling pad a must for that setup?

    • @diydetailofficial
      @diydetailofficial  Год назад +1

      It's the 6 inch rotary plate from lake country, I believe. You can get great results with a little more defect removal from our yellow waffle pad seen in the video, the rotary jeweling pad (coming in July) is just for that final step to amp up gloss and remove light imperfections or compound haze
