Ceramic Gloss is honestly one of the best detsiling products out right now! I love using it and I absolutely love the results a day later. Still need to try Gold Standard and the pads!
The Audi looked so much better after the gloss enhancement and ceramic gloss. Fun to see Nick loving the rotary as he was not a fan a year and a half ago. Thank you guys for another fun video!
Is it a good business move to offer only exterior services? I don’t enjoy doing interiors, but I love working on exteriors! What are you thoughts from a business perspective? I live in Tampa, Florida if that makes a difference.
For my website, do you recommend offering online booking, where they can book a time themselves? Also, should I show my prices online or wait till I get on the phone with them to tell them the prices?
When it comes to spraying, i've been really liking my DIY detail keg for blasting rinseless as of recent. I also have the IK foamer 12 that's going to be designated for foaming shampoos. I've hung up my foam cannon for right now lol.
Ivan, Nick - what's up? I have been a weekend warrior since I was 16 (almost 58 now) and now I have some pretty severe detailing OCD 😂 I am more than competent with a DA, and I did buy a cheap (Chicago Electric) rotary from Harbor Freight many moons ago, but I've only used it a few times, as I was basically afraid of it and the high speeds. I've started watching your channel and saw this video. I figured. "Why Not?" and picked up a few waffle pads. I just got in from the garage, after polishing the top surfaces of my car. You are right on the money. Speed "1" and light movements are awesome. Even with only a medium polish, all but the absolute deepest scratches are gone (I'm not entirely sure they can be removed anyway). The waffle pad IS better than the flat pad, there is a noticeable difference in the pad/machine "thinking for itself" and wanting to walk. I do have one issue, my polisher is VERY heavy. So I actually have to LIFT some of the machine's weight off the pad, or it gets twitchy. AWESOME technique and process though, works GREAT!!
Nick I'm glad you mentioned the weather, because I been meaning to ask your and Yvan's philosophy on washing a car after a week or so,knowing it's gonna rain either soon or immediately after it was washed. 🤔
Okay, I love the rustic look of your garage. The product I've bought I have LOVED and have been incredibly impressed. And the keg for a sprayer? Thank you for that amazing idea! My dad who recently passed was a king and making his own beer and it was the best I've ever had with an average of 8 or 9 different kegs on tap. Now I know exactly what I'm going to do with a couple of his kegs and keep his joy of beer in my garage with my passion for car detailing. Thank you guys this actually got me pretty emotional, and thank you for the great product you continue to put out on the market.

I’ve only ever used a DA and just bought my first rotary(spta) last week and your red jeweling pad, hopefully it won’t take too long for me to get the hang of it….also been using your rinseless wash so much lately I love it esp with your sponge, def gotta try your iron remover when it’s back in stock
If you make up a full keg of your Rinse Less Wash how long will it last in the keg? Should you make a fresh batch for each wash/use or only once it is all used? Keep up the Great work guys!

Can you give me some guidance why is that happening and can i do paint correction on that car? I would really love to bring back to life that car TIA
You guys are my favourite detailing channel! I'm a BMW mechanic from Québec but recently bought a whole bunch of DIY products as I'm learning better carwash techniques from you. For a one step, would the red or yellow pad be better? I assumed 1 step was the yellow, 2 step was the purple and then red. What do you guys suggest?
How do you polish hard to reach places like underneath door handles, near or inside badges and emblems, or on cars with complex, aggressive shapes where you can't use a big pad? BTW great video.
Love the videos . When will iron remover, all clean , water spot remover be back in stock . We have been told next week for more than 1 month now! Real ETA ?
Nick, Yvan , forgot to add my question before..If I use a 3" random orbital polisher wth the jewel pad, similar to that one you used before on demonstrations, should I have to be worried with the speed as it has one speed at 12000 rpm? Thanks for your valuable advice!
You’ve talked me into a rotary. But should I. I have a Flex 3401. Would the rotary be that much of a difference. Odesa rotary need a different polishing compounds. Thanks. I truly respect you opinion
I wish the yellow waffle pad was a little higher profile or thicker. My boss has a 2 gallon Milwaukee battery operated sprayer.. works pretty good. I have a 5 gallon 12v SLA battery sprayer from when i was a big time pot grower and it works bomb!
Question for you, if you're doing a 2 step using the yellow waffle followed up with the red jeweling pad do you wipe off the polish after you finish with the yellow first?
Does Yvan not believe in using a different side of the decontamination towel when moving to different panels? Noticed multiple times simply adding iron remover to the same side and moving onto the next panel?
There's hundreds of videos online about this already. A one step is using a compound that has a cutting and finishing abillity. An enhancement might remove 50+ percent of swirls whilst improving gloss. Which is basically what a one step also does.
how do you even do the decon method in direct sunlight? I did rinseless wash once and its awesome, any dried up stuff comes of with another pass of rinseless, but if Id like to add iron and clay towel decon how do I do it? Prerise with rinseless, spray off, at that point I cover car in rinseless again and start going pannel per pannel and drying right after, how to modify it to add iron and clay and do I do decon pannel per pannel as well and rinse it right after and dry???
If the key to prevent streaking is to keep the rotary flat, how do I tackle areas where it would be impossible to keep it flat? I.e side skirts that are concaved and front bumpers that are angled in tight areas.
If you washed with Rinseless and used Ceramic Gloss as a drying aid over a bunch of water spots, will Water Spot Remover work? Or will it require polishing?
Go for the 1 gallon pump sprayer instead. It's the one designed to be bleach resistant. The long hose/handle is much easier to work with and the pressure is better. I always find the half gallon to hold barely enough rinseless solution.
Need to move up to a wool pad on my black Volvo. Gold standard polish (My first time.) and then… Question: Wool pad for better cutting, but then finish with the waffle pad or Jeweling pad? ~ Thanks ~
Could I use the red jewel pad with my basic palm sander as I'm a beginner detailer and thats what I have in my arsenal already? Or is a rotary really what's needed to take advantage of the red pad? Thanks for any help.
I've got a rotary at home so I tried your technique but not really getting the results I expected. I'm from Australia so I can't purchase your exact products yet but I've got an orange waffle pad and am using Meguiar's UC. No pressure low speed rotary slightly damp and covering an area about 10 times over gives me ~50% scratch removal. There are still a lot of visible swirls but looks glossier for sure. Do I just need to keep going over? 20-30 times to get a good result?
