What's a piece of DIY soaping equipment you'd like to see us make? We'd love to see your comments!

Great video. Thank you for sharing. At the hardware store you said the wire was for a log splitter too. Have you made that yet? If you have, I would love to see it. If not you should consider taking us along for the ride. I just discovered your channel tonight & totally enjoying you two. Instead of cleaning for Thanksgiving guests, I am bingeing on Cat and Raven. Looking forward to more videos. Thanks again!!

Our loaf splitter is part of our bar cutter (you can see it in any of the videos using the slab mold). If I ever remake that tool I’ll be sure to film it!

Thanx for sharing! I love that it has no blade.

I briefly considered trying to make one with a blade but it just seemed to scream “high probability of laceration injury” lol

I love this idea, I would love to be able to make things like you do as my beveling is terrible I've given up doing it as I cannot get the same pressure all the way round my soap lol. You make this look easy but I would never be able to do this. You are very good with your carpentry I could never make this, as I can see how perfectly it could work on any size bar .

I appreciate that! I still have a lot to learn but these projects are a great opportunity to practice. Places like Brambleberry sell a very similar beveler to this, I just have a hard time justifying buying something that I know I have the skills to make. If you don’t feel comfortable making one yourself, that’s always a great option!

Your amazeballs! Only you would find a way to do this on the cheap! If you want a good professional beveler, look up stamps4you, he makes an awesome bevelers for 15$ that will give you several different bevels for your soap. It's what I use.
