Kind of like finding out your mom has a kinky S&M sex dungeon in the basement with a famous OnlyFans account. Watching it now, after all these years, and after all the raunchy hip hop music and videos, always-on dark porn, and the shock-comedians that came after him, now it seems pretty tame overall. One of the most underrated actors imo. Obviously a great stand up comedian but also a great comedy actor. I loved Richard Pryor but feel Eddie Murphy more versatile. I feel most of his movies are great and even the less great ones are watchable solely because of him. I loved him in Holy Man, as that proved he is a great actor also. To me, he is on par with Robin Williams.
