Windows Defender is killing me while I'm trying to make the live usb... I turned off real time protection and set the installer to run overnight... but of course defender real time protection auto starts at midnight and quarantines 45 files and I had to un-quarantine them all one by one LOL. Got a full checksum and quickly ejected the drive before defender can screw me over again.
Hi I’m thinking of getting this tool medicat but did I understand this correctly. If the computer won’t load windows you can use this to copy files to an external hard drive?
Medicat is an OS that you boot off of that has many different tools inside. One of which will allow you to read the HDD thats in the laptop or computer and then you can extract to an external drive. If the HDD in the computer is dead, medicat cant magically copy from there however. It is similar to HirensBootCD in the past. And you can always physically pull the HDD from the laptop to extract too.

Excellent video. I notice some apps on the disk are ISO files. Do these need to be extracted before boot or does medicat do it after boot

install on linux bro, I had the same problem with windows even tho I turned everything off
