- The National Congress of Black Women, created in 1984 by Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm, Dr. Dorothy Height, C. Delores Tucker, and Coretta Scott King, presented The Unbought and Unbossed Awards Program during the 53rd Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Legislative Conference.
