My company requires that you don’t have an automatic restriction so just something to think about
J dog the trucker hi. Thank you for the reply. I actually just completed school and passed my CDL test Saturday. I will have an automatic restriction but the company I am with is all automatic. The school I went to said I can come back anytime and get my manual training for free and they will then test me to get the restriction removed. School was had but I really enjoyed it. Great group of guys. Stay safe out there.
Mane i love this video
I'm planning on going to a company to get my CDL within the next couple of months. What tips could you give me to ease my worry because I've never done this before?
Do your homework and make sure they fit your life and your family. Once you've decided on a company and you're happy with your decision move forward. And enjoy the ride
*Do you need to get your cdl permit first on your own? Or do they do it there?*
ET XENO PRIME you'll need to have it before they hire you on.
And how long dose it take to finish to school. But do they give u a job to or not?
3 weeks to finish school. You get paid after week 3. First 2 weeks no money
Okay. Cause they told me you get pay that first week there
Unless they changed things. I didn't get a check until the 3rd week
I'm heavily considering roehl. Is it a good company to start with?
Based off my experience it's OK. However their contact us really long and you'd be under paid. In my opinion. Best wishes
Do they have a training center in Texas ?? And do you have to have your cdl permit before you start ?
Mark Holt not at this time no. And yes you need your permit
Are you required to drive manual?
so is the cdl issued in that state or home state
It'll be issued in your home state
do they have automatics for training?
If me and my boyfriend go there together would be able to share a room?
Or even drive the same semi after training
I'm not sure about either one of those questions. Team driving sure. That could work out but during training and then otr with your trainer would be separate for sure
when you go for your road test is it with a state trooper or an instructor
Third party tester of the state
I wish I just could go straight & join company instead of CDL permit
Did you have to bring money with during the training and how much do you recommend a person to bring
I did bring money. You need to bring enough to last 3 weeks. You won't get paid until the end of week 3. So think about food,Laudry, and essentials
@@MrCevans1026 do the have a meal plan. You do I have to pay for my breakfast lunch and dinner
Breakfast is in your. The hotel will have something. It's not the greatest but it's something. Lunch will be provided for you there at the Gary terminal and dinner is 100%on you
Great video I am coming from a CDL school next month 2 more weeks
Yo bro how many hair follicle test did you have to take starting off at roehl?? I can’t keep getting my hair cut out😂🤦🏽♂️
I only took the 1 test during the onboarding process.
Thanks
Do they pay for your transportation to the training facility and your meals?
Haskell Rogers transportation no meals yes. Just lunch though.

Haskell Rogers yea there's week 2 and 3 on my page
