LT1… say no more. I worked in police and was a mechanic so I kept these running in the fleet so there’s so many simple mods that can wake that up and make it reliable.
I appreciate you all for loving the content! There is still lots of plans for this car and future videos coming soon! We were pressed for time in this video to least get it home while avoiding several cops in the process 😂. If anyone saw when I looked at the frame up front and that the radiator looked kinda funny. The car was jumped originally by someone somewhere at some point. We were able to get into the trunk at the end of the video and find some goodies to help fix the parts that were bent. So there's still a ton of work to do with it such as replacing parts, rewiring, welding and we will go more in depth on that soon plus full cleaning of the interior. So stay tuned on that plus other vehicles that need work still to come!
In case Ed from my high school sees this video, "TLC" means tender loving care, not tables, ladders and chairs. But we were all wrestling fanatics in school.
Thermostat, water pump, full strength antifreeze not 50/50 dexicool only with distilled water 80/20 mix .plus a high output alternator 150 amps for that size car !
I tried to buy a 68 cadillac limo when i was 17, my dad said no, big time. Found out when he was a teen, he and his friends try to buy a hearse, but nobody was allowed to keep it at their house
Thanks. I tried to film some other stuff but we were trying to avoid too many cops on the road that day and we were pressed on time sadly 😢. There's still a lot of work to do I forgot to mention that the front core support is bent. But when we went into the trunk there's a new one with new radiator so we have to tackle that and rewire some stuff plus clean the interior and maybe fix some of the rust. Future videos coming soon.
Radiator support and radiator was actually crushed upwards but at the end of the video we found new parts on the trunk to replace it. Someone jumped it at one point
Restore it to original, amazing find and it’ll be worth alot in time. Your also preserving history and an era that will never return
Love the caddy
Love how there are no cuts just pure footage of peeps hanging out. very chill
I appreciate it. I try to keep it as pure as possible
Nothing like the LT1. Get it right and enjoy it. Engine worth $$
I was hoping someone would save this beast! 🖤
That's what we plan on.
I used to go to the C&S warehouses in that area plenty of times. Drove refrigerated trailers for Foster Hill Transport for 9.5 years.
Greetings from Finland. Nice car for drinking beer and having fun! 🤠👍👍👍
I would. Fix it. Love. The style. Thanks

nice I like the way you aregetting it back on the road.
what a Gem. get videos man. Big fan
Clean inside with liquid laundry soap and leather cleaner ! Soap on carpet works .
I want the limo version of my 96 Deville 😂
I recommend you purchase a ratchet socket set. Nice vid, fellas.
Fix the roof and the horse kick in the flank , give it a deep detail, and spray the chassis with rustoleam truck bed paint , and cruise !
I’d use some black roll on Bedliner on the roof, just roll right over the rust. You guys should enter a Lemons Rally 🍋 but you need valid plates 👎
Be more careful 😂

Awesome project!
I would be interested to know how you get the interior back.
Make a video about it.
Greetings from Germany.
Thanks. We will be doing a video here soon on cleaning up the interior and try fixing the paint/rust spots.
I'd drive it...
I've got R&L fenders L headlight and front bumper for 94 Fleetwood Brougham .
If we need to do anything once we dig into it some more we will keep you in mind.
Fix it up and drive in class!!!!
Oh, you passed through Wingdale? You may have driven by the old Dover Drag Strip.
Believe it or not I'm literally down the street from there.
They spent way too much time and filming the alternator replacement.
How far are you from New Fairfield ct
About an hr or so from ya.
Got a 66 in the shop.
Brakes...
Thats my old car!
The limo?
@@DesperadoGarageOfficial actually as I'm watching the video more I'm 100% sure
@@redneckjeepman1 did you happen to sell it to a guy in Middletown NY awhile back?
@@DesperadoGarageOfficial no, its a long story but Middletown is not far from me
I have its sister car and im thinking about selling it
fix it
While I enjoyed the content of the video, I found that alternator change was way too long could’ve put more content and better content into the video

Radiator looks not correct for that car ? Too small and size not correct also.
