This video helped me a lot and saved me a lot. The garage gave me 140 EUR offer to replace this switch. It isn't a joke so I started to search, found this vid and now I have 140 EUR (for beer :-) ). Thanx man.
Mate, I just want to say thank you. You saved me a lot of time and money going to an auto electrician. They told me I would need to replace the regulator. I did just as you showed and it's work 100%. You're a legend.
2 years later in 2022, this still works. Had 3 terminals that were crusty as shown in the video. Followed as shown and saved $180.00 as it was going to $60 for each module switch. Cheers lad! :)
Really appreciate this tutorial mate. Just fixed our car after window wouldn't go up. Been a nightmare with rain etc as couldn't get it in the garage. All sorted now and money saved. Thank you 👍🏻
Just repaired mine after watching this video, worked a treat, took longer to disassemble the clips on the switch than it shows but nevertheless its done, thank you very much.
Also would you know where to locate the reverse switch (in the gear box) mine engages intermittently (sometimes have to put it in & out of reverse for it to trigger the reverse lights (it will still reverse without the lights)
my problem is the opposite. The drivers button wont activate the passengers window. Do you know if the button console on the drivers side can be easily removed/accessed for inspection.
Hi don't know if anyone will see this but I have the same 2011 ix35 UK version, the master switch won't lower the passenger window, aswell the passe ger switch won't lower the window, I've checked the motor and that works as it should, also bit strange but rear passenger window will go down with master switch but not back up. Do you think a dirty contact like you show should be the reason to all these faults?
We had similar problems with our 2011 Ix35. Hyundai quoted us $$$ to replace the switches, but they were just dirty. Nothing wrong with the switches once contacts were cleaned.
I used a small flat screw driver and stuck it down the side and pried it up while pulling it apart. I think that's what you're talking about. It can be quite fiddly
@@bobbygabriel8606 alright brother the persistence paid off, I managed to fix 2 out of the 3 disfunctional switches I'll have a go at the drivers side one tommorw! You saved me 270 dollars brother, and got me a big satisfaction. appreciate you!

Would you do this for a window that is sluggish both with the driver door control & passenger control or would it be more of a motor issue? Thanks
Hi my name is Adrian thanks for that very informative are the back doors the same type of switch
Hi, what is the part number for the switch
hahaha. very good Gabriel, but i'm scared of the repairing and fuck everything
What's the worst that could happen? It's already not working.
do you have a video how to replace the rear fog lamps of hyundai IX35?
What if it's not working from the driver controls either?
my problem is the opposite. The drivers button wont activate the passengers window. Do you know if the button console on the drivers side can be easily removed/accessed for inspection.

Everything is working fine, thanks a lot for help!
@@tomaszjaszczynski507 Did you just clean the switches?
Tried this some months ago but only last a while.Must be doing something wrong.😊😊
Can someone elaborate on how he managed to separate the parts on 7:00, I couldn't do it and in the video there was no walk through on that
