There is, actually. Knowing you raised a good kid, that actively encourages others to be good kids and helps those most in need, even when nothing is said :) Autism can be very difficult to cope with even as an adult, as a child it can be almost impossible to cope with, especially like is mentioned in the video about large crowds of people. And yet these group of kids brought out the best of themselves to the word, and not just once, but continually, always putting the more defenceless young kids first, that's good parenting all around by all parents of the kids in this story. Having the kindness to put others first at all times. It will be great to see how things turn out in a few years time as they grow older, I can see a long term friendship in this video despite what differences you may see on the surface between them (Age, mental ability, etc).

I agree. Isn't it nice when you are out in public and see a kid with manners or just being kind and then their parent(s) show up and you can tell them what you observed and say something like "it's nice to see that. Thank you for raising such a great kid" and you can see that it makes the parents proud to hear that.
"Old school" parenting is needed to raise a respectful, kind child. I have seen many kids along with friends do good deeds who weren't raise by "old school" parents. I may have been hit with a belt once, if that, and I think I turned out pretty damn well along with being told so.

This made me cried because know I know that there are middle school kids that don’t bully 😊 (Also reminds me of a friend that I have who treats me a little badly but gavin made me realise that my friend can CHANGE) Gavin is a good kid
my nephew has autism and it's really hard for him to make friends. this means a lot not only to the families but means so much to the child too. makes me feel really warm inside.
Way to go Gavin!!! That kid is going to become such an incredible adult, because he's already incredible. He's definitely going to have good seats in heaven.
Wooow thank you so much to Gavin & his friends for bringing such extremely beautiful joy into the little boys life & giving us the gift of what is hard to find nowadays which is LOVE & HUMANITY😢👏Hope others follow your example including adults. May you & your friends be blessed always & thank you😢💕👏🥰
I'm happy these kids showed kindness to this boy. They didn't care if he was autistic, they wanted to be friends with him and that means so much to me. My brother is autistic and I was always worried people would treat him badly or different because of how he was, especially as he was younger when he didn't talk very much. Thankfully we went to a school where people were nice to each other. I'm not as worried as I used to be, (I still have my moments though) he just turned 24 a couple weeks ago and he is very independent and is able to talk to people and has friends he's met.
An act of kindness by one can be an inspiration for the group. What great leadership skills and empathy this young man’s mother has instilled in him. Beautiful story.
I hope Gavin and Carter are still friends to this day. Touched my heart as an adult with autism who held any interpersonal care for myself from others on the highest level. That little boy is gonna remember this fondly for the rest of his life.
My nephew is autistic and this is so heartwarming! Most kids and adults instantly step back or ignore a kid who’s on spectrum!! This is amazing! I also love the positive story of skateboarders! 🥰
These kids made an impact and it will go with this family for the rest of their lives. Kindness is so lacking these days that it is so refreshing to see these kids showing us how its done.
tears of joy, grateful thank you for sharing.. my heart wishes nothing more watching such videos.. as a mother of a son who grew up skateboarding and shared..and he gave his old boards to those up and coming...and also helped blessed
These types of stories should be shown more often - restores your faith in humanity. Beautiful, watched it with a lump in my throat and tear in my eye.❤
The second I saw the little boys mum smile when she said that their reactions shocked her, I started smiling, I already knew why they did was the right thing. You can tell how happy the mother was. God bless them all xx
My baby girl has Autism and it's beautiful seeing older kids seeing past that and giving them a different kind of love children need and want. My daughter loves my nephews because the just love to mess around and act like she taps them hard. I have never seen her bond with other children so to see that amazes me.

That's awesome! LOL
Each time!!
🤣🤣🤣tears of happiness though
my nephew has autism and it's really hard for him to make friends. this means a lot not only to the families but means so much to the child too. makes me feel really warm inside.
We need more kids like Gavin! A little kindness goes a long way. 😘
Great great kids. Don't change !
An act of kindness by one can be an inspiration for the group. What great leadership skills and empathy this young man’s mother has instilled in him. Beautiful story.
Imma just let y’all know at a skatepark nobody is going to be toxic. I’ve been to so many parks and have met a bunch of genuine and nice people.
I hope Gavin and Carter are still friends to this day. Touched my heart as an adult with autism who held any interpersonal care for myself from others on the highest level. That little boy is gonna remember this fondly for the rest of his life.
They are
My nephew is autistic and this is so heartwarming! Most kids and adults instantly step back or ignore a kid who’s on spectrum!! This is amazing! I also love the positive story of skateboarders! 🥰
Some kids have some great parents.
Literally crying watching how kind they were treated Carter. ❤️
"He's rad."
Omg 🥺
That guy was meant to be a leader. he's a good guy
Wonderful mum and son.
These types of stories should be shown more often - restores your faith in humanity.
Beautiful, watched it with a lump in my throat and tear in my eye.❤
I applaud Gavin and his friends for having Carter feel special on his birthday and after. An act of kindness goes a long way👏👏👏👏😊😊😊
Very good kids 💖. God bless you always.
Ok, that did it, I’m bawling my eye out. Awesome group of kids! Well done parents!
They had us in the first half i'm not gonna lie.
wish more teens were like them. selfless and caring.
They go to my school, half of those kids do weed and Gavin is crazy bruh
Stoof Carry haha yeah most kids do. but at least they were caring 😂
J Hoang yea for that moment, but most of the time they fight in the bathrooms a lot
This generation gives me hope once again.
@2:19 the mum's warm smile over her son's kindness to another shows the kind of heart she has; no wonder he turned out the way he did.
The second I saw the little boys mum smile when she said that their reactions shocked her, I started smiling, I already knew why they did was the right thing. You can tell how happy the mother was. God bless them all xx
This shows hope for the future generation....
I've seen so many awful stories about bullying, it's so refreshing to see a kid with a great heart like Gavin. His mom deserves to be proud!
How many of you have tears in your eyes when the kids started singing Happy Birthday
“You did it right”
The best compliment a mother can hear.
Major TEAR JERKER ❤️
AWSOME TO SEE THAT THEIR IS STILL KIDS AND PEOPLE OUT HERE LIKE THIS 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
A simple act of kindness is the first step to making this world peaceful.
My baby girl has Autism and it's beautiful seeing older kids seeing past that and giving them a different kind of love children need and want. My daughter loves my nephews because the just love to mess around and act like she taps them hard. I have never seen her bond with other children so to see that amazes me.
I have two twin with autism so totally understand the mom and really appreciate the kindnesses of those young adults🥰
