Swearing to the oath is the biggest fraud and perjured action by police perpetrated to Americans on American soil , police don't think people have no rights until they are arrested and mirandized ; very ,very scary !
@Lacklustermedia You have to look up the definition of 'infer', cos using it wrong just makes a guy sound like a dumbass attempting to sound smart.
Imply, insinuate, intimate. That's three alternatives to what you're trying to say.
Keep up the good work otherwise.
"Right of freedom" takes the cake for worse answer ever!!!
I mean, I can think of worse. At least he thought it had something to do with freedom. Still pretty bad though.
It isn't wrong; it's just incredibly vague.
I actually felt bad for that answer. Oof, man.
"If you become disorderly, you may be arrested for disorderly"

COPS ARE CONDITIONED TO LIE NO MATTER THE EVIDENCE
Yeah, telling the truth, admitting the truth, admitting they lied, even admitting that they know the first or fourth amendment .. they feel cannot be caught on camera admitting any of that stuff. But they sure can tell lies ..all day, every day - camera or not.
Sad
Lie verbally.
Lie on reports.
They didn’t lie. They don’t have a clue

Not surprising. There are IQ requirements to become an office. If you have a reasonable IQ or better, most departments and most academies won't let you join. They only accept below average intelligence.

The 1st and 4th are heavy hitters. I’m retired and I still read my pocket Constitution. I retired without getting in the jackpot and violating Constitutional Rights. These rural police are acting out the stereotypes- podunk .
You know something is very wrong when low information people with a few months of training is being paid more than most medical professionals with many years of higher education.
And that low info "profession" claims their wage derived from work place injury and potential death, when 7-11 cashier and Domino's pizza delivery drivers have more risk...... it's ridiculous.
Wait, cops make more than doctors?
On average, police officers receive less than 6 months of basic training. Field training is often not required by law. Where it is required, officers receive an average of only 6 ½ weeks of real-world application. Without state mandated minimum hours or standards, departments can set guidelines that are inadequate. (Source: U.S. Bureau of Justice Statistics)
In Arkansas, police officers require FAR LESS training compared to barbering and cosmetology professions. The Basic Peace Officer Course is only 520 hours (one of the LOWEST in the United States). Barbering school requires 1500 hours. (Source: Arkansas Commission on Peace Officers' Standards and Training / Arkansas State Board of Barber Examiners)
More than 71% of agencies devoted less than 5% of their total budget to police recruit training. Spending on training has increased in fewer than half of agencies over the past five years. (Source: Police Executive Research Forum)
Furthermore, police academies place an overwhelmingly disproportionate emphasis on combat tactics, such as weapons training, defensive tactics, and the use of force compared to de-escalation tactics - 165 hours against 21 hours, on average. (Source: U.S. Bureau of Justice Statistics)
Consequently, what we are witnessing in police brutality, corruption, and excessive, unreasonable, and unnecessary use of force, including death, amounts to professional malpractice and can be linked directly to a series of training failures. @@TheOrangeRoad there are police making more than the governor of any state. One cop in Maryland made over 400K, the highest paid employee in the state. Sure, but they are extremely entertaining.
The police dept called the sheriffs office, the sheriff's office then put out a dispatch over the radio. The level of incompetence in this video is insane
The fact he spent so much time on that is wild. Call by phone or call by radio is no real difference. The fact remains he was summoned there for a non-issue.
This is the most pitiful and embarrassing department I’ve ever seen. It’s pure cringe.
Wow. Cop calls a bunch of his buddies to come intimidate a peaceful camera person, then they threaten _him_ with inciting a riot. I've never seen another profession where gaslighting is so heavily emphasized and used.
And done so easily and casually. They don't even have to try, it comes so naturally to these broken humans
Hardly anyone has ever reminded them how stupid they sound. I guarantee you that’s the reason they are THIS stupid.
An uncomfortable truth.
As I understood it, that was George Wendt's son...but don't know for sure.

"State law supersedes federal law"
I believe the last time a statement like that was uttered, there was a whole civil war about it 😂
He probably thinks it never ended. Lol
@@anotheruser5654 Normally, while constitutionally federal law technically supersedes state law, courts are inclined to side with the boundaries of state law unless there is a specific and explicit preemption of conflict with federal law where the nature of the conflict with federal law falls under the jurisdiction of what congress specifically has supreme authority to rule on, and fit the standards for "Preemption". Immigration, bankruptcy systems, and minting of currency are prime example of such areas in which congress has supreme authority.
See:
Altria Group v. Good, 555 U.S. 70 (2008)
Arizona v. United States, 567 U.S. 387 (2012)
Sperry v. Florida, 373 U.S. 379 (1963)
Executive Order 13132
I actually think he's correct...but state law can't _overwrite_ federal law
It's a matter of verbiage here, which again, shows the lack of knowledge on the part of the LEOs. Supersedes means to replace, while precedes means to surpass in importance. The "Supremacy Clause" establishes that the Constitution and Federal law generally precede state law. It is the "supreme law of the land."

If 'ignorance of the law is no excuse' is the standard for citizens.... What is the standard for those tasked with enforcing the law?
Their standard according to SCOTUS is "good faith" meaning they don't need to know the law as long as they THOUGHT they knew the law.
Mistake of law is a defense for law enforcement during a civil rights lawsuit. It’s actually an advantage to be ignorant or stupid. It’s unbelievable that the legislature can pass a law, not notify the public and then charge you for violating it, and then say ignorance is not a defense.

The constitution seems to be an alien book to a police officer with the title of lieutenant.
Lt Scot wasn’t an evil cop .. but I guess he was just coasting until retirement and forgot all his fundamentals long ago .. which turned out to be sooner than expected.
Exactly
For real these weren’t like most cops on this channel these were the type of cops that being opened to a different prospective they weren’t used to could have actually worked but instead they were attacked and he lost his job. Iv seen so many countless true tyrant cops who understand the law only to get around it that get off with no punishment and i think the fact he was fired shows this was a rare police department who genuinely have the best intentions. I don’t usually call into departments but I did this one but have to call back tomorrow and I’m gonna leave a fantastic review and just add in how citizens and cops can’t be enemy’s but when an officer takes an oath to constitution it becomes the duty of the officer to uphold that and when no officers do that anymore but then demand obedience and if not followed to the letter then you get arrested and charged with everything possible then that makes the police the enemy . Police treat violating rights as if it’s no big deal but it is because rights actually don’t exist there just ideas and what gives them power is supposed to be Police and Government that’s why you take an oath to do that because when an officer not only doesn’t defend but is the one violating those rights then do those rights even exist anymore? Your going to jail and the justice system will come at you with everything they can and it’s all defense for possible lawsuit. Then your lawsuit likely gets thrown out bc qualified immunity and to fully go through to the end will cost 10’s of thousands in lawyer fees along with years and in practice you don’t really have any rights if not wealthy

Add to that the inherent threat of being in a heated argument with law enforcement, and the fact that he so effectively counters almost everything they say with knowledge is practically superhuman, lol.
Seriously, bravo to this guy.
I don't know WHY,,, but I actually feel sorry for Luetenant Sadsack, Koontz is just annoying because he actually THINKS he's winning the argument because he has more "friends" present. He's a Dub. @@madtabby66 the first cop that came up to him and the sheriff? Seem a bit drunk but that's just me
This department uses centigrade not fahrenheit by the look of it.

Great work!!
Genuinely alarming. The people who live in this town need to see this
Just called and emailed. These tyrants need to be held accountable
I get the feeling that the only reason the internal affairs investigation resulted in such a harsh demotion, was because they knew he had already resigned to a position outside law enforcement.
They give the appearance of accountability to the public without actually laying a single true punishment on one of their blue line brothers.
I concur
This is absolute GOLD!!!!!
“You’re not detained!”
“You’re not detained!!!”
“I know I’m not, cuz I know the law!” 😂😂😂😂
They swear an oath to something they do not know or care about
They know the constitution...it's the thing they wipe their ass with
He claims he never swore the oath.
You have better luck asking the sun not to shine than a cop not to lie.
_Lieutenant?_ God help us, because these lizard-brained tyrants certainly won't.
I love this Channel !
I'm in shock. He literally stood there and said federal law doesn't supersede state law. WHAT!?! Uhm ... WHAT?!?!?
It does, and it doesn't. It's kind of been an issue for more than a century in the USA. The feds IMO have no right to tell any state what their laws are as long as those laws do not violate the US constitution.
Like when the fed would come into states that had legal marijuana and raid the shops. That's stuff that should not be allowed. States are only unified under the US constitution and have no obligation on paper to follow federal laws. The federal government has become too big, and should never have that authority.

@@getinline5145 Yes, but it's just not my opinion, It's been an issue that has been up in the air for a long time. It's not really a settled thing.
Holy shit, I can't believe that chief not only actually investigated his own officer but also implemented some pretty severe penalties. Now maybe he did that because he knew the officer already quit or was going to quit but I've seen way less punishment for way more severe actions of a LEO. Hell, they often get away with actual crimes with no consequences whatsoever. Good on that chief.
Dumbest one is the MOFO with the sheriff's vest on😂🤣😂" They called me down" " I'm not the sheriff"
Ohhhhh shit! He went from lieutenant to beat cop AND got put on graveyard shift? That's amazing and good for you to put that bozo in his place!
This is wild! I'm blown away!!!
What other profession allows you to be this clueless about your own job!
Imagine if a mechanic could either try to fix your car
Or just throw you in jail 😬
And they don’t charge you for fixes
And only made money when they jail your car for you to bail out equally broken.
Only government and then you get promoted so long as you're loyal to the state
Doesn't matter if you're competent or not the state demands fielty
The same job that REQUIRES you be a liar as a profession.
No honor required.
I’m surprised that he didn’t say “nanny nanny boo boo”.
What’s worse than a STUPID COP?
An ARROGANT STUPID COP.
My older brother once said to me. “ It’s better people think you’re stupid than to open your mouth and prove it”
That sheriff should zip it.
That was a good one talking about
This day and time
The more ignorant one is the more they get promoted
Thank you lackluster and thank you Justin for standing up for our rights
“You were looking up and to the right so you were lying”. I remember my dad (an ex sheriff’s deputy) getting that training and pamphlet telling officers you can tell when someone’s lying by watching which direction their eyes go. He used to do always try to inject that into arguments too to gaslight and claim people were lying in family arguments. What a joke. Lol
This guy OWNED everyone of those officers. I was laughing hysterically during the entire video
I signed up for the Army at 17 and could recite the 27 amendments and can still give you the definition of every word! Because when we swore the oath we had already come to terms with the likelihood we weren’t going to live a long life because it meant that much to us. What I see today makes my heart break! I love this country. It should never just be a PAYCHECK for ANYONE! Love it or fuckin’ leave it!
Thank you for your service! You are absolutely right in your conviction! This is what made America great. I love this country too but I'm also embarrassed by the political BS and it trickles down to us citizens. Cops are the worst. They get paid to bully, berate and batter its citizens. Abolish their damn qualified immunity. Disgusting!

So you support terrorists. Good to know. Pretty much none of the other Arab states want Palestinian "refugees" because they don't want their own people radicalized.
