It's hard cause my love language is touch but I'm asexual. I experience a lot of *sensual* attraction but not *sexual* attraction. That gets confusing sometimes
The discussion about physical touch seem really interesting to me. As an ace/demisexual person I have never liked it when people are too touchy feely with me. The closer I get to someone the more ok I will be with them touching me, but there are still times when I will not want to be touched even by a close friend or family member. I wonder if there is a correlation between touch and peoples level of ace-ness?
How someone feels about physical touch and asexuality can certainly coexist and feed one another, though I wouldn't say it's indicative of one's "level of ace-ness" (which isn't really a thing because "spectrums" imply a vast array of experiences, none of which are weighted more heavily than another, they're just all different!). Sometimes physical touch will be a part of an ace person's sexuality, other times it won't be. I (Elle) am not a very touchy-feely ace, either, but I also have troubles with social communication and sensory issues that probably contribute to that. But I also think my social and sensory issues play a part in my asexuality, too, so who's even to say just how correlated they are in my experience. Kaden can speak for themself, but from what I know, touch tends to be a demi- experience for them in that they are only inclined towards physical touch after establishing a specifically close bond with someone, and otherwise it's sorta uncomfy, even around family or friends. Spectrums are cool that way in that everyone's experience will be a bit different. Thank you for bringing this up! It was a fantastic thinking point for me, and you may even see a video about it or something similar in the future ;) (Sorry for such a long comment, haha).
Well if by level of aceness is meant how much on the spectrum you are vanilla ace (complete absence of sexual attraction), fact how much you are touchy does not have to corelate. For instance me as heteroromantic asexual (M) and panromantic asexual (F) we are both at the extreme end of asexual spectre, however while I am quite touchy person, which cuddles a lot its significant other when having strong and deep relationship, on the other hand my girlfriend while having same level of "ace-ness" she is much less cuddly and it has taken few months until I gained her trust and we started holding hands, share kisses, etc.
I don't think it matters whether you are Ace, at least not for all people, on how you are with touch. It can do with Sensory issues, being Ace, how overwhelmed/overstimulated you are, and/or a multitude of other possibilities.
Idk l'm n sexrepulsed ace and l NEED physical touch, like l'll hang myself onto any friend of mine and just hold hands or hug like all the time (l'm touch-starved and pathetic). But if it's not one of my close friends and the person touches me, l will be pissed forever, l hate it so so much, when someone just touches me, IF it is not a close friend of mine. At the same time, if ANYONE even remotely touches my boobs, thighs or butt, l will go absolutely crazy, l'll feel incredibly uncomfortable. Yeah, I'm a mess😂

Although I did have a kinda cringy time in middle school where most of my friends were LGBTQ+ and I wanted to feel included so I'd say- "I'm the +! Because I'm s+raight"(straight) and..... gosh, I am so embarrassed every single time I think of that. It wasn't like I DIDNT belong (not talking about my ace-ness) I belonged in my friend group, THEY WERE MY FRIENDS! Jeez past me. It's always been hard for me to figure out my love language because I'm a very romantic asexual, but because I'm asexual it's hard for me to differ different things when it comes to romantic and platonic stuff and I grew up seeing things differently. But I am also a very, very hopeless romantic. I've always thought my love language was touch, but some stuff happened and I shifted away from that for a while- but I think if I'm romantically involved with someone, I would hate it if they didn't give me physical affection (non-sex related, of course, I'm not comfortable with that stuff). But it's hard to figure out what my true love language is when it comes to family and friends and stuff like that, people outside of my romantic partner. Also- I didn't know about the term "Aesthetic Attraction' until a few days ago, but *whooou* I felt so validated as an asexual person when I learned it. It really helped me figure my stuff out.
