I've seen him in Florence,Italy, about 10 years ago....great concert...he's one of the best i've heard playing Hendrix covers...I'd say he's right up there with Stevie Ray...he was selling personally his cd's and I bought one....
To add to what Popa is saying is very big that's why I tell young musicians to learn drums first then go to the guitar, timing is everything in playing any instrument and drums gives you that.
Shredders are wanking .... amazing analogy. "It's way more important for people to feel what you're playing" He's so right about young players thinking that playing fast is all that matters. Just listen to his comments and the way everything is demonstrated. This is a man who not only knows the theory but he can play as well as anyone else out there. Love the way he acknowledges the greats such as BB as well as Jimi, Curtis et al - he does this in most of his interviews. That's humility in the face of gargantuan talent.
This was actually very informative and interesting, I love music but I can't play anything much less the guitar but the way he broke it down it made me want to learn more
@@bramblebop1904 Yeah Bramble he is fat. Fat aint healthy. This was filmed about a year before he decided to get some help with his addiction to food. Being 200 pounds overweight is hard on your organs..I would like to see him grow old playing as well..
An absolute master lesson. Any guitarist should listen carefully to these ideas. Thank you Popa, undoubtedly one of the best. 👌👌👌
Thank you for the concentration on the internal pulse

You're better off learning music on the Piano then move to guitar and get the timing later.
Saw him more than a few times... always worth it. Great video full of information

Is that a relic or legit wear?
Laurence Jackson looks legit to me, relics tend to have a glossiness about them, this looks fully road worn
Rothley131 Gamez yeah, saw him live last year. Looked very legit but wasnt dure.
Rothley131 Gamez sure*
+Thom S. Hunterson I wonder what the back looks like and if there's any belt wear.
