Late to the party. This was a good review. I enjoy Hardware Canucks as well, but after watching that I also got more questions answered here. Good, complementary videos. Great work.
Man your channel is awesome! and you are a very professionist in what you do and your videos are sooo crispy! deserve a LOT more than the sub that you have right now! hope i can became as good as you in that job one day! nice work and keep it up! :) greetings from Italy!
Sorry to be a bother on a 3 year old case, where can I buy the dolly at 9:24? I plan on getting this case but would love to be able to move this monster around.
Hi gents can you provide a link to the module that is part of the water cooling loop (blue) at the bottom inline from the pump to the gpus? Thanks if you can answer with a link
Do you happen to know if those pre-installed PWM fan controllers are removable? I'd certainly hope so to allow for more customization in a case that screams for customization.
THANK YOU! Was curious if you could hide the fans in the top area. Was wanting a 480mm radiator at the top with 4 Noctua fans pulling air but not visible in the main compartment. Was thinking about getting a different set of fans because well.... the Noctua fans are pretty "unique" in their looks and would stand out too much. Also going to put a 480mm radiator in the bottom compartment with 8 Noctua fans pushing and pulling. It will be visible but barely. Thinking about putting a different set of 3 fans in the front that will have RGB led features to make the main compartment pop out more.
LOL case labs cases are fucking ugly. Very convenient i agree but so ugly... Dude do you just see this full aluminium body ? This is immaculate with its integrated leds
Wahoo, a fellow Aussie doing reviews AND actually offering AUD pricing. :D +1 SUB. I love this case but god it would be a stretch to switch the pc on :S
Can some1 educated enough explain briefly what are the uses of a dual system computer? i still dont get it.. is it simply having 2 computers in 1 case? or is there a particular reason why you would want that, cuz obviously the second system wont be as powerful as the first one due to size limitations (or so i think), so if youll be using the main system for example gaming, what is the use of the second smaller system? thank you
you can build your main system for Productivity in the bigger compartment and the build your Network Attached Storage system in the other compartment for data storage. you can also build a gaming system in one and a streaming system in the other so you could game and stream at the same time
The second smaller system can be a linux machine a low powered system for game devs that want too see how there game runs on a lower powered system, and streaming your main pc(bonus: mini lan set up)
The top two Gigabyte Aorus MB would work well with this case as the main huge cable comes out the side rather than top like most MB’s. I’m considering building a pc to use for gaming in bed, using this as a bedside table lol
Yes. However: the early manufactions of the case shipped using USB Type-C 3.1 Gen1, with a free upgrade to Gen2 later when the Phanteks got the connectors. If you buy the case now you will most likely get the USB Type-C using the Gen2 connector and the USB Type-As using the Gen1 connector.
That little wheelie platform you got the case on. Where did you find one that big? I've been looking for one and I can only find tiny ones. (Video posted in 2017, still worth asking! :))
Have a look on a AquaComputer - "Aquaero 6 Pro" -> Link: shop.aquacomputer.de/product_info.php?language=en&products_id=3714 (looks better and is of VERY HIGH Quality)
I really want to do a full tower or super tower... just because. It's a shame they want 1000 for the Enthoo Elite... for that price I could get a hell of a Case Labs case(yes you can still find some). Kinda ridiculous they want 200 on top just for a stupid shipping box, for 1000 it should come with the damn thing.
Ya I bought a 1080ti when I saw they were asking for almost 1000 dollars... amazing how a company wants to sell this for that when a GPU company is selling a great GPU for under $800
I'm still pacing back and forth waiting for the mini-screen tutorial, I have paced thru the carpet, sub floor and am now about three feet into mother earth, and my Wife is getting annoyed with me. :)
It is a very nice case, however, the R/D behind it is very poor, as the radiator support, is for mainstream measure radiators rather than HPC 180mm fan ones, this case could have been designed to support 4 360x180x45mm Radiators...lose a nice 12 centimeters in length, a nice hell lot in height, a big deal in weight packaging and money....the tempered glass hinges are of old school low quality, when there are easy methods to make the hinges attach to the glass from inside hiding them completely to the exterior...last thing is that for this kind of money, if you know what You are doing you can build the case yourself, forging it completely in one single solid piece if you ever even needed that at a big fraction of the cost....and I think this is pretty much what im going to do as im tired of waiting for a PC case manufacturer to deliver a proper PC case that is worth more than the 20 dollars of the same stuff they buy to sell to us from alibaba chinese manufacturers....it is not the case of phanteks but i made my point...the few people that i know of that bought this, are very happy with the quality , but totally regret spending so much money on a case that after is just a fancy wardrobe.....as for storage options, no one in the world that needs massive amounts of storage would ever use a case like this, as the storage capacity is pathetic, if storage is to be considered a plus on this case...you can buy a storage server for this kind of money.... Without water cooling, this case is already around 37kg.
Phanteks seem hell bent on adding every conceivable fan size mounting holes and blocking half the airflow for bigger fans. Just use the largest common size that fits well and be done with it! I very much doubt someone buying this case to build a new machine in would be recycling old radiators and fans.
fischi big money. It's technically used for rendering cad animations and simulations for his dad's company but his dad is an enthusiast like most of us. Hell the 6950x is phase change cooled... It barely fit the phase change but we only needed to modify one panel for it to completely fit...
fischi Haha. It is pretty cool. It took us forever to figure out how we wanted the custom loop to run in it. We decided on radiators basically everywhere so it could get quiet fans. He's supposed to be getting some g.skill RGB ram soon. It will be lit
For me personally. It's just too big and boring to look at. I actually prefer my trash case. Id only take it over my current as it's worth more and I could resell and buy my own house maybe island.
ok this is by far and away the best review ive seen on this case. in fact its so good i just put my order in at pccg
Pics of your build?
Did you end up buying it? I wondering whether you like the case in actual real person use?
Don't think of it as a case. Think of it as a medium size apartment with a view.

Excellent review mate.

U deserve way more subs man
Is it possible to install a THIN 560 (28mm) radiator in the front and a 480 on the bottom?
Soo, would a dual 560 rad loop be posible on the elite? one at the top and one at the bottom?
Great video mate! Nice and informative😊
i just ordered mine :) very excited to build my threadripper in it :)
Der ComputerSpezi Did you end up buying it? I wondering whether you like the case in actual real person use?
Which model of bitspower combo reservoir have you used for this watercooling ???
To save time on assembly, I'll just place my current pc inside of this case.
bongmistt LOL XD
hahahahaha~
hahaha : )

such huge and beautiful case, probobaly my favourte case of all time now.
Zhihang Liu have you seen case labs cases ? :)
Carlsson yeah, no offense, i hate it.
LOL case labs cases are fucking ugly. Very convenient i agree but so ugly...
Dude do you just see this full aluminium body ? This is immaculate with its integrated leds
when you took off the side panel to a lack of cable management I literally spat out my coffee
Wahoo, a fellow Aussie doing reviews AND actually offering AUD pricing. :D +1 SUB. I love this case but god it would be a stretch to switch the pc on :S
That side panel really needs to be combined with those transparent LCD panels.
Great Video, would be great if you could do a video with this case and Air cooling preferably RGB. Also where did you get the stand with wheels?
how did you get the color of your coolant
what exact reservoir is he using?
What's the pump and res combo that you are using? I can never find one that big.
In the words of Bob Mulét the barber from GTA V....GORGEOUS!!!

I think streamers can use it.

A mini-itx would fit so perfectly
Nice review. Could y ou tell me where you did obtain that white stand with wheels? It fits the case perfectly.
Yes, I would like to know too, probably made it themselves. After two years it likely they will never answer our question.
hey is the case using the new usb type c 3.1 gen2 20 pin connector?

I'd also like to know where he got it from. Having a hard time finding them
What kind of in-line flow/temp display is that?
The new TT one
Thanks. Too bad it only comes with a blue display.

It’s surprising the case hasn’t had an upgrade after 2 and a half years.
Can't wait to build mine. Just waiting for ASUS to fix their 300 series motherboard.
It's HUGE! Looks good but i personally like mini itx more
Jesse Forsell use the bottom part of the case only! 😅😅😅
Haha :D maybe build two pc in one case
yeah its huge... that's what she said!! haha

I just couldn't do it.. it is ok but Personally I consider it to be bulky and wayy over priced i mean does it include a 1080 Ti with it :p

I’d like to try and make this case an air cooled only build. I’m obsessed with Noctua Fans and Noctua cpu coolers so I’m up to the challenge.

I bought instead the Thermaltake x71 TG wich is much cheaper and has the same space =)
Agreed.
2:08 "One up the rear"
Holy cow, that is all...

cool
Wow ! 1300$ CAD
I'd rather be able to get the case for $600 than have a flight case I don't need or want.
i rather buy a 1080ti
yea......because people who bought this case bought 3 Titan x for their secondary rig and put other seven of them inside this case water cooled.
Its the same cost as 1 1080Ti
I think moust of us can't afford this case xD
fischi my friend has one... At the same time it has 2 systems in it. One a with a 6950x and a 7700k system.
Keaton Blomquist O_o #sponsors or #big money O_o

I wanna get adopted ( I bet I spelled all the things wrong, but who does care )

6:50 the most pointless and ridiculous dust filters ive ever witnessed!...
waaayy too much for a case like that. Id rather buy something more unique from inwin or something. 600 max. You can keep the box
Full stops are made for just that. Stopping.
whatt!!
1.000€ in itali a è un furto, impossibile da acquistare

dont like it at all.
