Yeah plus a 6950x, TITAN X(P)x2, some $500 mobo, crazyest RAM u can find, custom loop for CPU, GPU, RAM, VRM, chipset and PSU(not sure if its possible for all of those), at least 10TB of solid state storage and ..yeah I guess that'll do (lol)
Yeah, I'm think about buying several of those Enthoo cases for a few micro ATX air cooled builds I'll be doing for folks just browsing the web. It looks suitable for that.
I was never more satisfied with a computer part, as I was with my Phanteks case! Building a PC in one of their cases is a joy. I couldn't afford this case, though!
NEEDED ADD ON that should be included. Magnetic mat that can be cut and used to cover unsightly openings. Such as the rear wall vents etc. This way if that portion of the case is not used it can be covered easily for a TRUE CUSTOM finish.
This case is so darn large and heavy it literally says in the product info it is delivered on a pallet and requires two people to receive the product! WOW "Please note: Due to the immense size and weight of this case, it can only be shipped on a pallet and will need two people at the destination to unload. "
Aww, was hoping to also see info on the Enthoo Evolv mATX with tempered glass. I've only seen one video so far but I was hoping to find out the release date.
I was originally going to buy this case, but they aren't releasing it in silver. I was really hoping for it in silver. Then I also saw the Lian Li PC-V3000, and, decided that's a much more reasonable chassis.
You guys don't understand the purpose of this case by the comments i see here. The project 217 is the one for you (and me). The Elite is meant to be inaccessible to you and only meant for extreme system builders who do over the top custom rigs with the most high end specs that no one would even dare attempt to buy. They don't expect to sell a whole lot of them as i'm pretty sure to manufacture something of this nature takes time and more human resources than the usual. You're paying for materials, human labour and development costs. Consider this a sort of 'concept' and example to follow for future Phanteks designs and features. Those who want it now will pay premium. Also Kayle didn't mention (i think) but the Elite can hold up to two separate builds inside the case (again, i think).
zionlee1004 Hm, by the size and thickness of those radiators and the bottom features, all in aluminum, no. There isn't one who has it all. There is in the price bracket of 400~500 dollars tho, so you may complain this case is around 400 dollars more expensive. Tho i'm still not sure even those are as customable as this one. Every piece in the interior is removable or replaced by whatever you want. Usually even expensives cases like the one Jay Z Two Cents has don't have it. TL;DR- If you buy a case like this, you most likely won't need a new one for at least a decade and half unless you get bored of it's visuals.
With all these RGBs everywhere its Xmas all year in kyle's house. I bet he even have RGBs in the toilets and incrusted in paper rolls, fuck yeah ! functionality dude !
The blow about 150USD just on that packaging xD For a premium case I am a bit disappointed they didn't just jump the shark and go for 3K or something. Might as well, only 0.00001% will pay 1K for a 1K case, can't imagine those same people wouldn't shell out 3K for it. Exclusivity sells itself :D
Beautiful case, and I'm sure it will sell well in its target market (people cross-shopping with CaseLabs cases). Not for me, though. Don't think I could justify the $600 premium over the (admittedly much older) Corsair Obsidian 900D.
A lot of folks here are raging over the price. However, it is simple. If you don't want to pay the price, don't pay the price. To me, this case is godly, and well worth the price - it's likely to see more than one system build and will probably last quite a few years. This isn't some plastic pile of crap. It's a showpiece. Also, I live in Australia. A lot of high end components already cost upwards of $1000...so meh.
Hygiene Sure, but that's not the point. If you're an enthusiast with enough disposable income to justify getting a $900 case, you probably will have the most high end hardware components, probably with custom water loop and all going in this case. It won't make sense if your case alone is just as expensive as all the other hardware components. The one getting this case will probably have 6950X, 2x Titan X Pascal, etc etc.
c fahy the Dark Base Pro 900 has a Qi Charger and it's a beautiful ATX case with fuck ton of modularity. You can see the review at Hardware Canucks channel
Got The Phantek Enthoo Elite Satin Black on the way. But my concern is getting somebody to help me collect it when it arrives, as there is a requirement for 2 people to move it.
I think the $1500 case that has a laser grid and opens itself with the press of a button is better. I think it was an in-win? That thing is a spaceship.
I guess I just don't understand the value proposition. It seems like the Enthoo Primo already does a lot of this stuff and costs about a quarter. The two system stuff makes no sense at this price, either, because you could buy a Primo and nearly any ITX case and spend less than half of what this costs. And it doesn't have that baller-ness look that a 900 dollar case should have. Am I way off here?
Sooo most over the top pc would be: This $900 case, i7 6950X for $1700, titanium MoBo for what, $500, $1000 GPU by corsair, that Asus 4K HDR freesync monitor for $2000, that 60GB SSD by seagate (good knows how much). Woow, who needs a house when you can have a PC for tens of thousands
For that price range I'd go with Caselabs. I know "omg, but tempered glass", but youll want that WHEN (and if) you got a monster of a rig. You wont spend 900 bucks on case and 700 on a PC itself. For around 300 bucks you get a 900D and mod shit out of it or like stated before go wild and get Caselabs case. Some new design, tempered glass as a whole side and those (yet again) RGB lightning puts me off rather than price. Still prefer simplicity than Xmas tree or Circus in/as my case.
Kyle, You really need to figure out your auto focus on your camera. This has been a few episodes it is over focusing and coming back. Minor but can be quite annoying to the eyes. Love the channel and content. Just constructive criticism!
Only 1 5.25? But I want 4 bays of Light Scribe DVD drives! Pressing all the buttons at once in my 2 optical bay case and watching the trays come out to take the disk out of my hands makes me giggle... (I can be entertained by a ball of lint)
What goes in this case that makes it this damn expensive. I think many people can find a killer case with billions on cool things for even under 200 dollars.
guy 1 : do I buy a GPU that run 4k or a nice looking case ? guy 2 : depands if u wanna look at the case all day or look at screen playing games guy 2: ans why does it cost 900 ? the materials cost maybe 200 guy 1 : heyy they spent 2 whole years making it ! we respect that
I may be in the minority here, but any case that doesn't have an optical drive bay is a deal breaker for me, also this thing is about 600 dollars more than I'd ever consider paying for a case.
For $900, it better also be able to make a good ass sandwich.
its a computer case not a mail order Russian Bride
junior nunes I don't care that I like Phanteks's stuff, this is too expensive.
lol XD hey if it can make bacon without burning it im happy lol
Nick Gregory what did you expect in that lower compartment? Nah, that is where you store your condiments
Nick Gregory true 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
OMG, I want that Project 217 S case. Perfect for a modern / stylish htpc mini itx system.
Well, this 900$ case and that Japanese 1000$ PSU would go well together.
Also get one of those 6950X's which is about 1700 and a 700 dollar MOBO. Also, 2 GTX Titan X(P)'s.
Dustin Pham only 2 gtx xps? Get 300
I thought that when I first saw the MIJ haha
Yeah plus a 6950x, TITAN X(P)x2, some $500 mobo, crazyest RAM u can find, custom loop for CPU, GPU, RAM, VRM, chipset and PSU(not sure if its possible for all of those), at least 10TB of solid state storage and ..yeah I guess that'll do (lol)
Toni Ivanov I have a 6950X, two 1080's, a 500GB SSD, a 6TB HDD, and a fully custom loop lol
Most in depth coverage i have seen of this case so far. Others didnt get so up close
I understand that it is a super high end case, but $900 is insane.
200 max would be sick
Thirteen Pixelz yeah, $250 is the most I would ever spend on a case. Even then, I would be cringing when checking out lol
if you are into inwin cases this is actually not bad. my 909 cost around 450 lol and that was cheap
I only spent $150 on my NZXT case and I cringed while checking out lol
No doubt. You can get a Caselabs case for that price and probably much better quality and features.
They're gonna sell a whopping 4 of those
Edjackinoff still 3,600$
Twisted Saint but they aren't made to order tho
Twisted Saint so they'll lose money
Edjackinoff true
Twisted Saint this was a good talk :) have a good rest of your day m8!
gonna build myself a pentium 2 core, with gtx 1050ti in this on a b150 mobo. legit af.
Vandoeun Long pentiums are not very reliable I say i3 6100
Yeah, I'm think about buying several of those Enthoo cases for a few micro ATX air cooled builds I'll be doing for folks just browsing the web. It looks suitable for that.
I guarantee this case will be featured on Linus' "Holy $hit" series.
Dank Memes guaranteed
I was never more satisfied with a computer part, as I was with my Phanteks case! Building a PC in one of their cases is a joy. I couldn't afford this case, though!
Seeing Phanteks come out with one excellent case after the other is one of those rare few moments that makes you proud to be Dutch...
NEEDED ADD ON that should be included. Magnetic mat that can be cut and used to cover unsightly openings. Such as the rear wall vents etc. This way if that portion of the case is not used it can be covered easily for a TRUE CUSTOM finish.
It better come with a pc for $900
MrAvatin ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
better come with a damn cup holder
im really impressed with this case.... Looks amazing !!
I need that Phanteks box!
Tech-Know Scope it's a pretty standard music equipment box, cost like 300 dollars
I was originally going to buy this case, but they aren't releasing it in silver. I was really hoping for it in silver. Then I also saw the Lian Li PC-V3000, and, decided that's a much more reasonable chassis.
The new Phanteks lineup is in my opinion has made them THE top consumer PC case maker...
Phanteks did actually go all in they didn't skimp out on anything!
wow that 217s looks nice.
"This video is sponsored by: Fractal design"
-5 seconds later
"Were at the Phanteks booth-"
Its price also has no limits!
You guys don't understand the purpose of this case by the comments i see here.

I might save for this case I really love it honestly
Would love to have a phanteks enthoo evolve tempered glass with vertical gpu mounting would be epic!
With all these RGBs everywhere its Xmas all year in kyle's house.
I bet he even have RGBs in the toilets and incrusted in paper rolls, fuck yeah ! functionality dude !

$899!? They'll sale exactly 30 of these cases.
You'd be surprised.
and pewdipie is gonna buy 10 of them, ltt wil buy 20
that handy travel box probably accounts for 70% of the price.
For everyone talking about the over price down below. You pay for the design and the art of it, not the super dooper features.
I see more RED than anything. Two years in the making for pretty lights is how I see it.
if it came with the custom loop parts , tubes, blocks etc then maybe.. just maybe $500 But $900 is just nuts
when a case costs more then the hardware u put in it.
feroza mine is 100$ less than the case
You're probably going to put high end hardware in a case like this, which can cost well over 900...
lol my pc is 899$ i7 6700, gtx 970
Hygiene Sure, but that's not the point. when your iphone case cost more than your iphone
This knocks the Corsair 900D off the throne.
Surprised it didn't have an integrated qi charger
Uiriamu Busujima I've wanted a case with that for so long
c fahy the Dark Base Pro 900 has a Qi Charger and it's a beautiful ATX case with fuck ton of modularity. You can see the review at Hardware Canucks channel
Uiriamu Busujima Awesome, thanks! I hadn't actually been actively looking for one but the idea has been in my head for ages
c fahy you're welcome :)
That 217 is about to be my new HTPC...
hey, those red accents on the side of the front panel look a lot like the red accents on the red accents on the Dell Inspiron 7559 laptop
Incentive to work hard at your job!
A Quadro is the only graphics card worthy of such a fantastic case haha!
Seriously tho. I'm drooling.
Shoot dude you should do a skunkworks like water cooling build in this case!
Got The Phantek Enthoo Elite Satin Black on the way. But my concern is getting somebody to help me collect it when it arrives, as there is a requirement for 2 people to move it.
This case makes caselabs cases look more affordable lol
Rip caselabs.
I think the $1500 case that has a laser grid and opens itself with the press of a button is better. I think it was an in-win? That thing is a spaceship.
Do a dual build in there pls
Good luck reaching up from your chair to plug into front ports, Even better luck trying reach the power button!
A lovely case no doubt, the price seems excessive somewhat, almost as much as one of my GPU's, crazy.
What is that song that plays in the start? Tell me and I'll make sure that BitWit turns into AwesomeSauce again.
Zohran Sajid When and why did he even change? I was inactive for a while, and came back to this. I am upset.
I guess I just don't understand the value proposition. It seems like the Enthoo Primo already does a lot of this stuff and costs about a quarter. The constant refocusing of the camera drives me nuts. All Bitwit review videos are this way. But I want to see more skits. They are funny as hell.
no limits to the price
Sooo most over the top pc would be: This $900 case, i7 6950X for $1700, titanium MoBo for what, $500, $1000 GPU by corsair, that Asus 4K HDR freesync monitor for $2000, that 60GB SSD by seagate (good knows how much). Woow, who needs a house when you can have a PC for tens of thousands
this whole video i was repeatedly saying to myself "for $900 it better"
i started crying when i first saw it
It can be as premium as it wants, but still just a case.
For that price range I'd go with Caselabs. I know "omg, but tempered glass", but youll want that WHEN (and if) you got a monster of a rig. You wont spend 900 bucks on case and 700 on a PC itself. Kyle,
You really need to figure out your auto focus on your camera. This has been a few episodes it is over focusing and coming back. Minor but can be quite annoying to the eyes.
Love the channel and content. Just constructive criticism!
When the case costs about the same amount as a mid-range to high-range build.
Please please please do a pc build with this someday
Goddammit CES, you wanna make me spend more than I can afford!
Only 1 5.25? But I want 4 bays of Light Scribe DVD drives! Pressing all the buttons at once in my 2 optical bay case and watching the trays come out to take the disk out of my hands makes me giggle...
(I can be entertained by a ball of lint)
217 CASE FTW! WOW. DADDy wants.
CaseMaker 5 has it beat for the money!!!!
clean asf boii
i did something dumb. i bought an air540 and i probably won't need another case until desktops are long gone
For $900 i want it to do my homework, wash my clothes, make me some dinner and bring me a beer. Also i want it to be made of fucking diamond
That case costs 899. That 99 is for the box.
So can you put physical Hard Drives in it? I have two 16 TB internal drives in my current system.
Lol two years development and it looks still looks real similar to the enthoo luxe and primo
will my gt 710 fit
Hygiene comedy gold
Hygiene yes
Two systems in one case sounds amazing. Major issue though. Too expensive.
Love the video
$900... I feel like a peasant with my Enthoo Pro
What's wrong with CaseLabs?
Question, do you ever plan to upgrade your 980ti to 1080s or 1 titan x?
Did you make the video of PC showing 6:27 ??????????????????
Can you give me the link ????????
so does this case comes with liquid cooling kit?
What goes in this case that makes it this damn expensive. I think many people can find a killer case with billions on cool things for even under 200 dollars.
guy 1 : do I buy a GPU that run 4k or a nice looking case ?

guy 1 : heyy they spent 2 whole years making it ! we respect that
i thought paul had a wizard staff or something
I just want Thermaltake make a similar case cost $249 below. Such as X71 case.
please use fixed focus its pretty distracting having the focus keep jumping/hunting
The "Mystic Light" app.
There's ONE problem with this case at this price point:
Caselabs
Shit, for $900 it better be the last case you'll ever need.
Looks good but I like Phantek's Enthoo Primo just fine and its way cheaper.
Make an ITX mini version, phanteks.
how is that other blue version actually spelt?
900 bones for a case...fuck that - It's double the price of my gaming PC!
I may be in the minority here, but any case that doesn't have an optical drive bay is a deal breaker for me, also this thing is about 600 dollars more than I'd ever consider paying for a case.
Can i buy the shipping box without the case?
lol it used to be just a videobomb but he put paul to work
Project 217 I want one
I only see a tri 140 on the front
Who comes up with these names? Whats an enthoo supposed to be?
where can you get this case?
Bought case
Had no money left for any other components
No regrets
