Jake, seriously, when life goes back to normal I think ABR and AILD should co-headline a tour together. PS, great review man.

AILD is better than they’ve ever been, and that’s a hard thing to come by. So glad they’re back together!

It’s so much better to watch an actual musician do reaction videos. Not just some rando

ABR is the first band I saw live. Warped tour 2012. I didn't understand the metal genre at the time and did not like them. About 4 years into becoming a metal fan, I listened to them and wondered what I was thinking haha. By far the most consistent band I've ever listened to. Not one bad song. Keep it up ABR. Thank you for the inspiration.

Hearing Jake talk about staying on As I Lay Dyings bus reminds me of when I met Jake when he opened up for AILD in 2007/2008. I hope he'll read this, but probably not.

As I Lay Dying started it all for me back in 2007/2008. I was a senior in high school and was mostly listening to bands like Underoath and the softer side of hardcore music. Then I heard the song "94 Hours" by these dudes and the rest is history. There was something so unique about their sound...the combination of super melodic and chunky guitar riffs coupled with chaotic drumming and emotional vocals. Once An Ocean Between Us dropped, I was hooked. I will argue until I'm blue in the face that that album is the most iconic and influential metalcore album to date.

Dear Jake, I gotta tell you, that I had the pleasure to tour with AILD in Germany twice (unfortunately never with ABR) and I must say, I just felt so much what you just said! We were just a small Band opening for a tour package every night and these guys were the nicest and most humble dudes ever! They invited us to hang out, knew all our names from day one, greeted us so heartwarming every new day, frequently asked if everything was ok, etc. I mean, they had lots of other stuff and business to take care of, than caring about us I'd say. It was something, I never ever experienced again with any other band or people in general! It had such a huge impact on me that I'd say if everyone, me included, would treat people like they did treat us, the world would be it's best version it could possibly be!
