When you see the title the cabin in the woods you don't think of a high tech ritual experiment in a controlled environment. This was completely different from what I was expecting. It was crazy as hell and was good to watch.

Hands down my favorite horror movie!! What I like is that all of them are smart and all of them are fighters. The suits had to work hard to get them to cooperate and I respect that. Especially Marty, my guy.

I love Dallas reaction . I remember when I first saw this film it was not what i was expecting but its pretty much like a satire of sorts of all the horror films and monster that we consume. if you go back to the monster board you can find a reference to a lot of horror films and the ancient ones are suppose to be us the audience
This explains why people be making dumb decisions in scary movies. They are manipulated by outward forces, which is why us of the audience are so confused when they do it, but in another side of the comparison, we are basically the gods they die for our entertainment.

The movie was written by Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard. They worked together on the 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' show (created by Whedon). The giant snake was from that show.

As a genre movie lover, this is like ultimate love letter to horror and monsters! So many references, and plays on tropes... one of my all time fave! Also can't help but being fan of Drew Goddard, with his signature ethical and moral dilemma themes!
I love the fact that they didn’t just do American horror, they also had separate monsters and scenarios for Japan, Italy, etc., paying homage to horror movies from around the world.

I might blow some minds with this one, but a highly plausible theory: Marty was the virgin, and Dana was the fool. Sigourney Weaver miscast them, but it actually worked out to the five archetypes needed for the ritual.
Marty was uncomfortable with any sexual overtures (like from Jules, all hopped up on pheromones), whereas Dana, from the opening scene, was established as someone who had had a long-standing affair with an older man. Later on, she tried to hook up with the scholar guy who reads Latin. Marty also saw through all of the illusions, whereas Dana was pretty clueless half of the time. She was the Fool. Marty was the final guy. The old gods would have been satisfied if the redneck torture fam zombie had just killed Dana before she got out of the RV.

Yeah it's only in the modern era that unicorns are considered sweet mythical creatures. In times of old, the unicorn was associated with strength and battle. This was a creature which was equal to steroid crazy lions and dragons. The only one who could approach a unicorn was a virginal girl or woman - the idea of purity. Men and boys were on sight.

I seen this at the movies without knowing anything about it besides Chris Hemsworth was in it and my friends and i smoked so much marijuana before we went, this movie was a mindbending experience. What's crazy is it really is some real life rituals that people do to serve God's, Christians sacrifice temptation you know, the will to not have sex before marriage, their Bible says to drink in modesty but people are always getting drunk Lol, than you have darker cults like Witchcraft, and ones who do blood sacrifices for youth spells, sacrificing loved ones for money, women and men who perform love spells, etc. So in a way it has some depth to it, since a lot of people usually do sacrifice something to keep a God (Or Yourself) pleased. Besides all of the horror characters that were added the story was pretty cool. And once again as always great reaction!! Yall were hilarious in this one, I was ROLLING!! 😂😂😂 (Can't wait for the Alien Trilogy with yall, the 2nd one is AMAZING and the best of the Franchise in my opinion)

All the sacrifices were TV shows for the Gods. lol So that is why they could not just kill 5 teens quickly. When you think about it, these people were heroes to save us from the old Gods. I think you guys should definitely react to James wan’s new movie malignant!! It’s not the conjuring or insidious that’s for sure….but it was a great movie in my opinion!!!! Definitely worth a watch and the twist at the end……yeah y’all should definitely give it a watch!

I seen this at the movies without knowing anything about it besides Chris Hemsworth was in it and my friends and i smoked so much marijuana before we went, this movie was a mindbending experience. What's crazy is it really is some real life rituals that people do to serve God's, Christians sacrifice temptation you know, the will to not have sex before marriage, their Bible says to drink in modesty but people are always getting drunk Lol, than you have darker cults like Witchcraft, and ones who do blood sacrifices for youth spells, sacrificing loved ones for money, women and men who perform love spells, etc. So in a way it has some depth to it, since a lot of people usually do sacrifice something to keep a God (Or Yourself) pleased. Besides all of the horror characters that were added the story was pretty cool.
And once again as always great reaction!! Yall were hilarious in this one, I was ROLLING!! 😂😂😂 (Can't wait for the Alien Trilogy with yall, the 2nd one is AMAZING and the best of the Franchise in my opinion)

Maybe the humans created all this because the old Gods love to be entertained. All the sacrifices were TV shows for the Gods. lol So that is why they could not just kill 5 teens quickly. When you think about it, these people were heroes to save us from the old Gods. I wish this movie would have had a sequel so we could have seen the old Gods and what they are doing to the World.

They have to do this cause the evil gods are watching. The evil gods are basically us. Were watching these horror movies like these Titans do. Hoping people die wanting others not to but also up to fate so some we want to live die anyway lol. So many monsters. You know they hid some Easter eggs in all that. Like I heard the Grady twins from shining is in one shot with the cubes rotating lol.
