I love the idea that the reason Cornelius supposedly woke up in a sweat in the middle of the night wanting to build a time machine was because he knew the day he's supposed to meet his past self is coming
I had never thought about it that way, although didn't Louis from the past end up altering Gu's future so that there would never be a risk that Gu, as an adult, would want to ruin Louis' future? The theory would make sense if Louis from the past had left things as they happened to his future self.
@@kaellagos5895agreed. there wouldn’t be a reason for Cornelius to want to build a Time Machine *at that time* unless it was bc he, as an adult, still wanted to see the moment with his biological mom. which is why when Louis asks “did we ever meet her” Cornelius just smiles and tells him he should go to science fair, because eventually he’s going to build the Time Machine and get that closure.

So thank you Bob Iger and John Lasseter for saving the animation studio once again!
Meet The Robinsons is based on a book by William Joyce, who created Rolie Polie Olie, George Shrinks, and the books the movie Rise Of The Guardians is based on.
There is actually a deleted scene that I wish Disney kept in the movie, where in the end instead of it being Lewis who wakes up young Goob in the baseball match, he takes Bowler Hat Guy to the past with him and he is the one that wakes him. I like the scene because it felt like they gave the power and choice to Mike to make that change for himself, instead of it being made for him like everything else was for so long. "I didn't need to destroy your destiny after all. All I had to do was - wake myself up! I... really didn't think this through. Thank you, Lewis."
@@Tooba-K123 Yeah, the scene that they went with was still nice, so I'm not saying they inherently took anything away from the movie by having Lewis go back to the field to wake him up. I just like the notion of Mike doing it himself and thought it would've been neat if they kept it.

He also has a tendency to make buildings and objects have whimsical faces, hence the Robinson abode.
This movie made me sad as a kid because I could really relate to the main character. I always wanted my dad to spend time with me, even though he was never truly absent. So when the character chose not to meet his biological mother to avoid messing up the timeline, it broke my heart.
This was the second 3D animated movie we had at my theater after we switched to digital projectors in 2007 (the first was a re-release of Nightmare Before Christmas reformatted for 3D) and I absolutely love it. The soundtrack is so good too, I always forget to put the movie on when I need a musical pick me up. Jamie Cullum’s jazz contributions to the soundtrack were fantastic, plus All American Rejects, Jonas Brothers. Rob Thomas got all the glory with Little Wonders but it’s a great song so I’m not really complaining.
This is one of my go-to feel good movies when I'm feeling sick. It has a bunch of wackiness to distract me from the illness and also has a heartwarming story/message
I can't believe I didn't realize this until I watched your reaction. His father's name is bud. Bud is commonly short for Carl, Charles, or more importantly William. His adoptive father is Will Robinson.
Fun fact! (though this might not 100% true) When young Lewis asks older Lewis if he will ever see his mom, he tells him to go to the science fair and find out. At the science fair, when he uses the memory scanner to see the wedding, one of the two bridesmaids looks an awful lot like the silhoutte of his mom.
POV: You’re cozied up on the living room floor watching one of the most emotional Disney movies of all time, the glow of the TV illuminating your space as Meet the Robinsons unfolds before your eyes. One of your favorite animated films of all time is born. The song will forever make you feel some kind of way. The emotional weight of this Disney masterpiece wraps around you like a warm blanket, and the soundtrack hits you right in the feels, the soundtrack is impacting you on a spiritual level. This isn’t just a movie; it’s an experience, a moment frozen in time where your favorite animated film is brought to life. And then it happens-the song “Little Wonders” plays. Suddenly, you’re transported. Every note and lyric resonates deep within your soul, tugging at your heartstrings with an intensity that feels almost spiritual. The message of cherishing life’s small moments echoes in your mind, reminding you that it’s these little wonders that shape our existence. Yes, all these lives ARE made in these small hours.
😢 keep moving forward ❤ I appreciate the realness of this film in its topics and themes it chooses to explore. It has SO much heart that it breaks my heart. The score is the secret sauce that hits this movie like a friggin truck. SO GOOD.
1:03:06 At the start of the film, there is a shoe that slips and runs. Its the same shoe slip at this point. Not sure if you cought that in the audio :)
We used this movie to talk to our kids about adoption when they were little. Two of our 4 kids are adopted from foster care so it opened up lots of age appropriate conversations. ❤️
I am so glad it is you dudes reacting to this video… If Tara was here, she would be screaming every single one of her lines, she would only be pointing out things that happened on screen directly in front of her, and she would be slamming a bag of cats against the wall to try and get us to ring the bell…. Seriously, why does she have to try and get us to ring the bell, by absolutely obliterating our eardrums every single time at the top of her lungs?
Something i wish we had in this movie is we get to see a flash foward at the end to an alternate future where adult Goob is like a professional baseball star and hangs out with the Robinson family along with his own family. Showing that not only Goob's future changed but him and Louis became close friends despite everything. It feels like it could've been a perfect wrap up to the movie.

Yeah as a kid it caught me so off guard but watching it nowadays the signs are right there if you pay enough attention it seems like 😅
Ikr, as a kid it was a shocking twist, although it might be obvious in today's time.
This is such an underrated Disney movie, I was late to this myself but it’s soooo freaking good!!!! Great reaction guys 💛💛
This is one of my go-to feel good movies when I'm feeling sick. It has a bunch of wackiness to distract me from the illness and also has a heartwarming story/message
For a similar family, you have to go back to 1938 and "You Can't Take It With You".
Hell yes!! Love this movie so underrated.
The Rob Thomas song always gets me emotional
This movie is seriously underrated. Glad you guys watched it.
This is by far my favorite movie, I always get “keep moving forward” engraved on my ipad, need to get it tatted close to my heart one of these days
i feel like this movie is so underated its one of my favs
Seen this in elementary and I always remembered it. It hold a special place in my heart thank y’all for doing this 🤣
Keep moving forward!
I LOVE this movie it’s my favourite disney movie, i loved this as a kid too
Since the movie came out, I've seen it multiple times yet I burst into tears every single time Rob Thomas starts singing in the end.
I've got "keep moving forward" tattooed on my arm, I love this movie so much
I can't believe I didn't realize this until I watched your reaction. His father's name is bud. Bud is commonly short for Carl, Charles, or more importantly William.
His adoptive father is Will Robinson.
Love this movie, one of my favorites Disney ones! And the rob thomas song at the end always gets me.
Okay I quoted this movie all too much growing up lolll
Thank you for doing this!!!
My favorite animated film.
Loved this one as a kid…still great
POV: You’re cozied up on the living room floor watching one of the most emotional Disney movies of all time, the glow of the TV illuminating your space as Meet the Robinsons unfolds before your eyes.
This is my favorite childhood movie 😢❤ I'm shocked how you guys haven't watched this movie before 😭
😢 keep moving forward ❤ I appreciate the realness of this film in its topics and themes it chooses to explore. It has SO much heart that it breaks my heart. The score is the secret sauce that hits this movie like a friggin truck. SO GOOD.

At the start of the film, there is a shoe that slips and runs.
Its the same shoe slip at this point. Not sure if you cought that in the audio :)
I love this movie so much I remember watching this in theaters for the first time and hearing Rob Thomas song at the end it felt so hopeful
Such an underrated movie! ONE OF MY TOP FAVS♥️
We used this movie to talk to our kids about adoption when they were little. Two of our 4 kids are adopted from foster care so it opened up lots of age appropriate conversations. ❤️
This is such an underrated Disney
movie! It's my absolute favorite! "Who'd you meet, and what do you know?" Such a classic!
I watched this with relatives who are adopted and this film hits deep
I am so glad it is you dudes reacting to this video… If Tara was here, she would be screaming every single one of her lines, she would only be pointing out things that happened on screen directly in front of her, and she would be slamming a bag of cats against the wall to try and get us to ring the bell…. Seriously, why does she have to try and get us to ring the bell, by absolutely obliterating our eardrums every single time at the top of her lungs?
I do like Tara but you have a point
Lol agreed 😂
This was such a popular movie that a video game based on it was made for the Nintendo DS and it was pretty good
One of my favorite movies of all time. Also Astro Boy came out two years after Meet The Robinsons.
13:45 These kids don't know about Odd-job. 😀Good reference tho
One of my favorite movie. Underrated.
