I just want to thank you immensely because i have been trying to make SH2 work on my SD for days now. Watched many videos on YT and NONE made it work for me. Aaaah the relief! I went pretty quickly in the options of the enhanced version following your tutorial and i forgot to put the ''grain'' filter filter on. Could you help me about this? It'll bring bring good memories of when i first played it in 2001.

I can play it. But when I exit the game and try to play it again I have to reinstall the enhanced edition mod all over again. 😢

Followed your steps exactly but no matter what I do it just launches the original Director's Cut instead of the Enhanced Edition. Tried reinstalling everything and re-using the config exe, but nothing is changing. I found some posts saying the files from myabandonware aren't good, but every tutorial says to use it.
The first time I did it I had that issue! That’s why the guide is the way it is, yeah it’s kind of annoying when it loads the normal version. I’m not sure what else I can say iv done this twice and a few comments saying it worked for them. I’d love to get you up and running!
