This is the only review in which I’ve seen the photos taken by the s20 that have come out so good. All other reviewers are just putting it down and finding faults in it. I’ll be getting my s20 ultra on the 17th of March. Let’s see how it goes. 🤞

Phillip Pugh Hey! Congrats on your new phone! I’d love to know how do you like the photos on it? Do you notice any artificial sharpening upon zooming into your photos? I mean do things like text, tree leaves etc look like oil paintings? Also, are there any blown out highlights?
they either dont wipe the lens before using it or dont know how to focus and keep a steady hand. i have the s20 exynos and photos look great..they will only get better with updates
@@nipunsharma5351 nope the camera is a beast . Here's the thing if you're shooting 8k video are 108 mag pictures..... Use a tripod it's that simple. The new sensor on the s20 ultra is twice is big as your average cellphone censor , so your gonna have to deal with out of focus imaging in the four ground just like a full frame camera

@@victorstrahilov108 Hello ! Could you tell me some things? I did the exact same change, went from S8 to S20 yesterday but I have some problems. First the Always On is a lot less bright (it's dimmer) on the S20 than on the S8(tried manual and auto brightness but still less bright) and the second prob: I just discovered today that my S20's camera moves slow in dark spaces/dark rooms, yet the camera from the S8 doesn't lag at all, the image moves the same as in bright spaces. Do you have these problems ?
@@serbanos94 I don't use always on display and have no idea how to help you with that unfortunately. About the camera I have no problems at all, check if you have the latest updates as I've heard that the camera software had issues but they've been fixed with the new update. Good luck 😊

Hey just one question. So I went into your drive folder to check out the telephoto cameras photos. It only has 3x then straight to 10x zoom. The camera doesn't have 3x optical zoom. It has 4x optical zoom and was wondering if I could see some more 4x zooms. Also would love to see more zoom samples too

S20 has mediocre battery life in today's standards. Completely on wifi it came down to 8% in 11 hours with 4 hours 30 min screen on time. No gaming and 90 min calls. On similar usage pattern I would have left with 25 to 30% on my S10+ easily.

Nice review man! Can I ask what is the max zoom in video mode?
FWIW I really like the way you did this. No fancy endless fanboy wow stuff reading off the spec sheet, just hard and fast real-world use case done in an interesting and useful way for an actual review. Video wise I would say Samsung fail to support their hardware with apps. IMO I should be able to edit HDR10 with a Samsung app and have the HDR retained to save wherever / upload from the phone. I have the S10 (and think I still will for 2 years) and never bother with the HDR10 vid because that (the HEVC is fine for phone output anyway again IMO). SUBSCRIBED:)
Extremely valuable input! There's a lot Samsung can do, but it also depends on what ppl are using more of. Big brands tend to focus on majority's needs..

is there a time limit on how long you can shoot in different modes
Nice review, downloaded some of the images and it's great for socials, only if you are expecting DSLR type image quality will you be disappointed as in if you try and zoom in to 50% or more. For socials, you won't notice the lack of details(sharpness). Also on Supriya's when zoomed the beauty filter effects show up too much. I just got my s20 and will try and use it for street photography and see. Video quality is very impressive in my opinion and the night mode images are better than any other phone I've had. I wish they left the volume buttons on the left side & still allowed a 3.5mm jack for headphones. The quality of the audio from the usbC, in my opinion, is poor. Awaiting some Galaxy buds so hopefully, that will provide better in-ear audio.

It's the in built black and white filter that comes as an option when you use live focus mode
How about batt life vs the snapdragon that you review batt life
How do you select the black and white background option while recording?
Click on live focus video and then there's an option on the bottom right to select effects
