Useful information, but it would have been better is the camera was aimed at something other than the table the whole time. With the table it's difficult to see how your changes affect the image.
Love the video, but I don't know if it is because of updates or something, but lots of the things you talk about are not available on my S20 now. I wonder if you could do an add on with what the options are a year later, with the new updates installed? Thanks again, have liked and subscribed xxx
Did you find the way to fix the blurry pictures in the galaxy s20 ultra? I'm getting frustrated to get always blurry pictures, if you found the way to do it let me know, thanks
I thought that I won't be using single take! But damn!!! it's amazing every time I don't know what to do I take it and always get 2 or 3 amazing things out of it😁
Love my Samsung galaxy s20+ and now thanks to beautiful tutorials like this just learnt so much more thanks so much for the brilliant review please keep em coming 👌👌🤘🤘
Hey man, thanks for the tips, appreciate it. One question though, even with the "Beauty mode" switched off, my photos still seems to to have the effect on afterwards in my Gallery. Please tell me there is a way to switch this off, because I don't want to look like a porcelain doll in my photos and neither do my dogs, I'm sure. Haha. Example - even whilst focusing the shot properly to get all the "hairy" details on them, the final shot still comes out "smoothed". I absolutely HATE that, there must be a way to switch it off that "processed smoothing" look. I'm on the Galaxy S20 btw.
You need to go in Pro mode - the over-sharpening is reduced in this mode. Has worked well for me and I hardly ever go back to auto mode unless I really don't have time to do manual controls. Hate the over smoothing and saturation like you.
@@dph308 I legit was thinking of starting to use Pro Mode just because of all the things available to you. I tried it out with my car and messed with the settings. It definitely helps when taking a dark lit picture. I'm definitely going to be using it more unless I can't like take my time to adjust the settings
I switched from the s7 to the s20 and the speed is insane... no overheating, great pictures, and 120hz. Single take really sucks though, because it has a lot of potential... being able to choose which shots you take would have been amazing, but my best pictures came from there for some reason...
While discussing aspect ratio, you did not touch on the pros and cons of the "full" ratio on the Galaxy S20. Can you please give your opinion. I like the view while taking pictures but is there a downside?
4:3 aspect ratio is native ratio of the sensor - this means, that everything different from 4:3 is smaller, than original = not maximum quality. If you print or exactly crop your pictures in editors, it is good to have biggest possible quality. Without printing or editing is different aspect ratio (16:9) good for on-screen viewing on TV or phone (on the TV just in landscape orientation) :)
Helpful video, thanks. I took a video today on my new S20 phone, and found that traffic lights (LED) showed up orange instead of red, and electronic signs (e.g. on destination signs on the front of oncoming buses) were all flicker and unreadable. I was on 4K, at 60 fps, by the way. Any suggestions?
Question, i take a lot of pictures and some videos for work. At times I need to email or text a picture or email. Whats the best quality should I keep either on. At times either pic or video is to large to send. What should I keep the quality? Thanks great video
I am sorry for commenting on all your videos man haha But they are all so informative and helpful! One thing I noticed is even with all the changings done, I still get smoothed pictures, and with the front camera, when taking a picture and recording, the images look so so different! Not just the quality, but mainly the colours. Is there a way to change that?
On the S21 you "can" actually shoot UHD60 in super wide angle with video stabilization, but only in PRO video mode... I wonder if the S20 allows that too (it seemed so hidden).
Super helpful walk through so thank you for that!!! I'm learning how to shoot with this phone and it's quite the change from my Galaxy S6, so... waayyy more updated haha! It's amazing what 5 years of improvements can do to a camera.

My issue is that when I take a 108mp picture and tap on the screen it will only focus on a very small area of the phone. Everything outside of that area gets more and more blurry the farther away it is from the round focus point. How do I take a picture with my s20 in 108mp and have the entire picture focused? I use this to take vehicle photos. But only a small portion of the vehicle is in focus. I hate having the rest of the vehicle with a slight blur
What phone is that in the video? S20 or s20 plus? I have the ultra but my fiance doesn't know which one to get out the s20 or s20 plus? What would you recommend and why?
The S20 and the S20+ are so close in specs and operations, it's really which one feels better in the hand. There is some minor differences in the camera. I went with the S20+ because I like the bigger screen, but I didn't like the Ultra.
Does this camera have the ability to record both front and back camera at the same time? I currently have the S8 plus and there use to be an app to support this type of picture in picture recording front camera and rear camera at once, and they did away with it. That was one of the main reasons I bought the S8

I need help, no amount of googling and youtube has helped 😂 when i film a vid on my s20 there are two timers on the top next to each other: on the left the duration of the video.
